Street Child est une organisation non gouvernementale basée au Royaume-Uni, active dans vingt-cinq pays. Son objectif est d’assurer que chaque enfant ait accès à une éducation de qualité dans un environnement sûr. Depuis 2008, Street Child a soutenu plus d’un million d’enfants dans plus de 25 pays touchés par des crises et conflits, en mettant l’accent sur l’éducation, la protection des enfants et l’autonomisation des familles.

En République Démocratique du Congo, Street Child est actif depuis plus de dix ans et continue d’élargir son intervention à travers une collaboration avec les autorités locales et ses partenaires.

OBJECTIF DU POSTE

Le Field Officer sera responsable du suivi et de la mise en œuvre du programme Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL), en partenariat avec le Ministère de l’Éducation et UNICEF. Il travaillera directement avec les écoles et les acteurs locaux pour améliorer les résultats d’apprentissage en lecture, écriture et calcul des élèves du primaire et du secondaire.

RESPONSABILITÉS

  • Planifier et mettre en œuvre les activités sur le terrain avec les partenaires.
  • Assurer le mentorat et le suivi-évaluation des apprentissages.
  • Effectuer des visites d’écoles pour évaluer et renforcer les pratiques pédagogiques.
  • Collecter et analyser des données qualitatives et quantitatives pour améliorer la mise en œuvre du programme.
  • Organiser et animer des formations et des séances de coaching pour les enseignants et les mentors.
  • Faciliter la coordination avec les services éducatifs locaux et assurer la représentation de Street Child au niveau provincial.
  • Consolider les données et retours d’expérience pour informer les ajustements stratégiques du programme.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUISES

  • Minimum trois ans d’expérience dans la coordination d’activités éducatives en contexte humanitaire.
  • Diplôme universitaire en sciences sociales, éducation, développement ou domaine connexe.
  • Expérience en formation et mentorat d’enseignants ou partenaires éducatifs.
  • Excellente maîtrise du français à l’écrit et à l’oral ; la connaissance de l’anglais est un atout.
  • Bonne connaissance des outils informatiques (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Connaissance de l’approche TaRL et du contexte local (Nord-Kivu, Sud-Kivu, Maïndombe) est un plus.

  • Solides compétences en communication et en travail d’équipe.
  • Capacité à gérer plusieurs tâches simultanément avec rigueur et organisation.
  • Forte capacité d’analyse et de prise d’initiative.
  • Aptitude à travailler dans des environnements complexes avec peu de supervision.
