The posting

Living Things is one of the fastest-growing drinks brands in the UK, with listings in every major grocer, the best independents, and 20+ international markets. We're less than three years into our mission to make soft drinks that are delicious and guilt-free and we're growing our team.

We're looking for people who want real ownership and the chance to build one of Europe's defining consumer brands.

We're hiring for a senior National Account Manager within our Out of Home Team looking after Foodservice accounts. To support our continued growth across Out of Home channel (specifically delivered wholesale, foodservice and contract catering).

What you'll do

  • With a growth mindset, channel connectivity and a bold vision we require someone to manage key customers (central trading relationships and RTM sales team initiatives), develop new business, own our activation and promotion plan (plus support the go to market and scale up strategy).
  • Maximise distribution through prospecting, building relationships with key accounts and networking within the channel (selling to new stockists).
  • Manage existing business, nurturing and growing an existing portfolio of Living Things accounts.
  • Expand our connectivity with RTM sales teams and develop sales strategies to grow bigger and faster.
  • Work closely with our team of Territory Development Managers to build stock push/pull plans at both a channel and customer level.
  • Build customer plans that will deliver mutual growth tomorrow, next year and beyond
  • Ensure Living Things is always available with unmissable visibility.
  • Work hand in hand with our marketing team to develop trade marketing assets for your channel, organise sampling, on-site activations and customer engagement throughout your accounts (building brand awareness).
  • Attend and participate in trade shows and events.
  • Feedback competitor insights to the business.
  • Manage daily and weekly performance and effectively communicate results to the business.
  • Effectively maintain an up-to-date CRM.
  • Ownership of forecasting
  • Continually develop your understanding of the functional soda category.

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience of the OOH space climbing the ladder from field sales, account exec and up to KAM/NAM level
  • A career grounding in field sales and business development is vital
  • Existing connectivity and relationships across Foodservice and Delivered Wholesale sales channels
  • Able to attend and work from the office in London at least 3 days per week
  • Confident & outgoing personality with brilliant interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • We want a people person, a clear communicator and an awesome relationship builder.
  • Comfortable hunting new prospective stockists to sell-in Living Things range.
  • An ability to get stuck in & take ownership of your work. We will be giving you responsibility across a wide variety of areas.
  • Some natural hustle and the ability to get stuff done.
  • A genuine interest in growing a brand.
  • Comfortable with forecasting and commercials

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.
