We are looking for a high-ownership, analytical professional to join as the Founder’s Office Liaison and work closely with the founders across multiple business functions.

The role will act as a central coordination point between the founders and various departments, ensuring priorities are clearly communicated, initiatives are followed through and key business activities remain aligned with the company’s objectives.

The ideal candidate should have a strong finance background, commercial understanding, excellent analytical skills and the ability to work across multiple functions in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the founders on strategic, operational and business-critical initiatives.
  • Act as a bridge between the founders and various departments including Finance, Sales, Operations, Marketing, HR and other functions.
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects and ensure timely execution of key priorities.
  • Track action items, deadlines, deliverables and business initiatives and follow up with respective stakeholders.
  • Prepare MIS, business reports, dashboards and management updates for the founders.
  • Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, gaps, risks and opportunities.
  • Support the founders with budgeting, financial analysis, business planning and decision-making.
  • Work with department heads to gather and validate business information and consolidate it into actionable insights.
  • Prepare presentations, business reviews and analytical reports for leadership discussions.
  • Identify bottlenecks across functions and proactively drive resolution by coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in evaluating new initiatives, investments, partnerships and business opportunities through financial and commercial analysis.
  • Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive financial, operational and strategic information.
  • Take ownership of special projects assigned directly by the founders.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Business Finance, Investment Banking, Management Consulting, Strategy, Business Operations or a similar analytical function.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI or other reporting tools is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management and follow-up skills with a high sense of ownership.
  • Comfortable working in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment where priorities can change quickly.
  • Ability to convert complex information into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
  • High attention to detail, discretion and maturity when dealing with confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CA / CFA / MBA Finance / equivalent finance qualification preferred.
  • Prior experience working directly with founders, CXOs or senior leadership is highly desirable.
  • Experience in a high-growth company, startup, consulting or entrepreneurial environment would be an advantage.
