Key Responsibilities:

  • Witness pre-commissioning and commissioning activities including loop checks, insulation resistance tests, continuity tests, and function testing.
  • Review and verify documentation: Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, Calibration Certificates, Red-line drawings, and As-Built documentation.
  • Raise and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with construction teams, client representatives, and third-party inspectors to resolve quality issues.
  • Prepare and submit inspection reports and maintain records of quality assurance documentation.
  • Ensure all work is conducted safely and in compliance with site HSE requirements.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering (required).
  • Certification in QA/QC or relevant Electrical/Instrumentation standards (e.g., API, IEC, ISA) is a plus.
  • CompEx, ATEX, or Hazardous Area Inspection Certifications (advantageous for oil & gas roles).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation inspection, preferably on large-scale industrial or oil & gas projects.
  • Experience in reading electrical and P&ID drawings, loop diagrams, and installation standards.
  • Knowledge of testing equipment and instruments (megger, multimeter, calibrator, etc.).

Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and solid understanding of E&I standards and regulations.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, and specifications accurately.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to write clear, concise reports.
  • Competence with inspection and documentation tools/software.

Work Environment:

  • Field/site-based role; may require work in hazardous, outdoor, or remote environments.
  • May involve rotational shifts, night shifts, or extended hours during commissioning/start-up phases.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
