Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer with expertise in Quarkus, Spring, React, JavaServer Faces, serverless architecture, and proficiency in working with Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Database, and PostgreSQL. As a Senior Java Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our software solutions, ensuring they are performant, scalable, and aligned with best practices.

What You Will Do:

Responsibilities:

  1. Software Development:
  2. Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Quarkus, Spring, and JavaServer Faces.
  3. Implement and optimize serverless functions for specific use cases.
  4. Front-End Development:
  5. Develop and enhance user interfaces using React, ensuring a seamless and responsive user experience.
  6. Database Management:
  7. Work with Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Database, and PostgreSQL for data modeling, optimization, and management.
  8. Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database migrations.
  9. Architecture and Design:
  10. Collaborate with architects to design scalable and efficient software solutions.
  11. Ensure adherence to best practices in software design, coding, and testing.
  12. Performance Optimization:
  13. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks within applications and databases.
  14. Conduct profiling and tuning as necessary.
  15. Code Quality and Testing:
  16. Write clean, maintainable code with proper documentation.
  17. Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests.
  18. Version Control and Collaboration:
  19. Use version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborate effectively within a development team.
  20. Review code and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  21. Security and Compliance:
  22. Implement security best practices within applications and databases.
  23. Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations.
  24. Continuous Improvement:
  25. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a Senior Java Developer, preferably with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in Quarkus, Spring, React, JavaServer Faces, and serverless architecture.
  • Strong experience working with Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Database, and PostgreSQL.
  • Solid understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality code.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications in Java or related technologies.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
