The posting

We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Software Developer with strong expertise in Python and PHP to join inventYOU AB for an exciting opportunity in Stockholm.

You will work with the development, maintenance, and improvement of business-critical applications and systems. The role requires a self-driven and solution-oriented developer who can quickly understand existing codebases, take ownership of technical solutions, and ensure stable, secure, and reliable delivery.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations, and contribute to continuous improvements through automation and innovative technologies, including AI.

Requirements

  • Strong professional experience in Python and PHP development
  • Solid backend development experience with production systems
  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining REST APIs and system integrations
  • Strong knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, and database logic
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows
  • Comfortable working in Unix/Linux and command-line environments
  • Good understanding of secure coding practices and IT security standards
  • Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize existing applications
  • Experience working with large and complex codebases
  • Ability to take ownership of solutions from development to production
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-driven, collaborative, and proactive approach to development
  • Full professional proficiency in Swedish and English

Nice to Have

  • Experience with JavaScript and frontend frameworks such as Vue.js
  • Experience with Node.js
  • Knowledge of AI technologies and integration of AI capabilities into applications
  • Experience with secure AI deployments and on-premises AI models
  • Experience developing automation solutions and improving operational workflows
  • Interest in emerging technologies and AI-driven development
