En tant que Gestionnaire de la chaîne de valeur manufacturière, votre rôle consiste à définir et structurer les processus manufacturiers et les processus d’affaires en alignant l’ensemble des activités qui composent la chaîne de valeur de fabrication, depuis le développement du produit jusqu’à sa livraison, ainsi que tout le cycle de vie du produit (mise en service, réparations et retours). Vos responsabilités incluent l’identification, l’évaluation, la proposition et, lorsque pertinent, la mise en œuvre de solutions visant à numériser, optimiser et raccourcir l’ensemble du flux d’activités créatrices de valeur chez Genetec. Vous pourriez faire partie d’une équipe qui mène la transformation numérique des processus manufacturiers et des processus d’affaires liés à la production et à la livraison des produits fabriqués par Genetec.

Votre journée en un coup d'oeil :

  • Élaborer et implanter un système de contrôle et de suivi des coûts pour tous les produits fabriqués par Genetec
  • Augmenter l’automatisation des opérations quotidiennes, des transactions manufacturières et du processus de livraison des produits
  • Négocier auprès des fournisseurs critiques les prix des pièces et services.
  • Coordonner les QBR avec les fournisseurs critiques
  • Contrôler les niveaux et valeurs des inventaires
  • Éliminer le gaspillage

Ce qui fait de vous un excellent candidat :

  • Plus de 5 ans d’expérience pertinente en fabrication électronique
  • Baccalauréat en génie industriel, ainsi qu’un diplôme en administration (atout important)
  • Personnalité déterminée et orientée vers les résultats
  • Excellentes compétences interpersonnelles et capacité à collaborer avec des équipes multidisciplinaires
  • Aptitude en cartographie de processus (process mapping)
  • Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office, incluant des compétences avancées en Excel
  • Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais, à l’oral comme à l’écrit (ce poste implique des interactions avec nos collaborateurs et clients internationaux)

Votre expertise technique :

  • Solide connaissance des ERP
  • Expérience préalable en tant qu’acheteur/planificateur
  • Expérience comme fin négociateur
  • Expérience ou connaissance du secteur manufacturier / de la distribution

Job overview:

As Manufacturing Value Stream manager, your role is to architect the manufacturing process and business processes by aligning the activities that compose the whole manufacturing value chain (from product development to delivery) and product life cycle (in service, repairs and returns). Your responsibilities involve identifying, assessing, proposing and implementing (if applicable) solutions in the effort to digitize, optimize and shorten the whole production value-creation flow activities at Genetec. You could be part of a team that is spearheading the digitalization of the manufacturing and business processes related to the production and delivery of Genetec manufactured products.

Your day at a glance:

  • Elaborate and implement a cost control and monitoring for all Genetec manufactured products
  • Increase automation of daily operations and manufacturing transactions as well as delivery of the products
  • Negotiate prices for parts and services with key suppliers.
  • Coordinate QBRs with key suppliers.
  • Monitor inventory levels and values.
  • Eliminate Waste

What makes you a great fit:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in electronics manufacturing
  • A Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and a business degree (strong asset)
  • Driven personality
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Ability in process mapping
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite with advance Excel skills
  • Fluent in French and English, both verbal and written (this role requires interaction with our international collaborators and customers)

Your technical expertise:

  • Strong ERP knowledge
  • Previous experience as a buyer/planner
  • Experience as a skilled negotiator
  • Manufacturing/ distribution experience or knowledge
