About the Role

Our client is an early-stage B2B technology company working with manufacturers and distributors. They are looking for a proactive, commercially minded person to support their outbound sales efforts.

The main focus of the role is building targeted prospect lists, researching companies and decision-makers, and carrying out personalised outreach to generate first meetings.

Strong copywriting and content skills would be a plus, particularly the ability to write clear, personalised outreach messages and follow-ups.

You’ll work directly with the founders in a highly autonomous environment, with the opportunity to take on more responsibility as the company grows.

Responsibilities

  • Research target companies, industries and decision-makers to build accurate, high-quality prospect lists.
  • Identify and qualify relevant prospects based on the company’s ideal customer profile.
  • Use LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, databases and other research tools to find and enrich prospect information.
  • Write and send personalised LinkedIn and email outreach.
  • Manage follow-ups and responses and work towards securing qualified first meetings.
  • Keep prospect and outreach activity accurately updated in the CRM.
  • Test and refine prospecting and messaging based on response rates and results.
  • Support the founders with outbound sales and account research.
  • Use AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude to support research, prospecting and outreach, while checking the accuracy of the output.

Requirements

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in B2B lead generation, prospecting, business development, SDR/BDR, sales development or a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience building prospect lists and researching companies and decision-makers.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar prospecting tools.
  • Comfortable with cold email and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Proven ability to generate conversations and/or book first meetings.
  • Strong research skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Commercially minded, proactive and comfortable working independently.
  • Comfortable working in an early-stage, founder-led environment.
  • Copywriting, content writing or B2B writing experience would be an advantage, but is not essential.
  • Comfortable starting on a part-time basis with a paid trial.

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who is strong at finding the right people, building quality prospect lists and turning targeted outreach into first conversations.

Someone with strong writing or copywriting skills is a bonus — but hands-on lead generation and meeting-setting experience is the priority.
