Skeleton is looking for a driven and detail-oriented

Hardware Engineer

to join our Product Development department.

You will design and develop reliable, cost-effective electronics solutions that meet system, safety, manufacturability, and customer requirements throughout the full product development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Define electronics functionality, requirements, and concepts based on system and customer needs.
  • Ensure compliance with standards, safety, reliability, and cost targets.
  • Perform risk, reliability, and redundancy analyses (FMEA, FTA).
  • Design schematics, PCB layouts, wiring, and connections for mass production.
  • Select components and conduct simulations, testing, and validation activities.
  • Support manufacturability, testing, and production documentation (DFM/DFT).
  • Maintain electronics documentation, test specifications, and technical reports.
  • Drive product improvements based on testing, customer feedback, and industry trends.
  • Define end-of-line production test requirements for modules and systems.
  • Occasionally support customer-facing technical discussions to clarify requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Embedded Systems.
  • 2+ years’ experience in electronics design for series production products.
  • Hands-on experience with industrialization, DFM/DFT, and production testing.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Strong skills in schematic design, PCB layout, simulation, prototyping, and testing.

Proficiency with Altium Designer or similar ECAD tools.

  • Experience with LTspice, Matlab, or similar simulation tools.
  • Good reporting, basic data analysis, and MS Office skills.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and solution-driven mindset.

Nice to have:

  • Background in battery management systems, power electronics, or other energy-storage electronics.
  • Experience in industrial or automotive electronics, or other high-reliability/regulated hardware environments.
  • A genuine hands-on electronics background - personal projects, tinkering, or a long-standing interest in electronics alongside your professional experience.

Benefits

  • We offer flexible working hours, with the possibility of mobile working without core working hours and sufficient freedom for your own ideas.
  • A flat hierarchy culture - fostering our great working atmosphere.
  • A motivating opportunity for continuous growth at Skeleton.
  • An additional day off every year for your birthday.

About Skeleton

Skeleton Technologies is a global leader in critical power infrastructure for AI data centers and electrical grid stability, founded in 2009. Power today is more than electricity.

It is national security, digital continuity, and economic resilience. Skeleton is the Backbone of Power: equipping AI data centers, electrical grids, defense systems, and critical infrastructure with the resilience to withstand surges, instability, and failure. Our power systems protect GPU clusters from millisecond-level spikes, enable hyperscalers to run at higher rack densities without grid compromise, and make AI data centers up to 40% more energy efficient. We keep the lights on when grids fluctuate, stabilizing electrical infrastructure under the combined pressure of accelerating renewable energy deployment and surging AI demand.

When power fails, critical operations stop. We exist to prevent that in microseconds. Powering the infrastructure that powers everything else.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?
