About the Role

You'll install, configure, diagnose, repair and upgrade the hardware and equipment our people rely on every day, keeping it performing at its best.

It's a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, supporting colleagues and keeping the technology behind a growing business running smoothly.

  • Support new computer projects and new hardware installations.
  • Keep up to date with hardware and equipment contracts, and supervise contract-based installations.

Support & Troubleshooting

  • Install, configure, test, maintain and troubleshoot end user workstations, networked peripherals and networking hardware.
  • Support associated workstation and networking software where required.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex PC problems on-site, arranging off-site repair where needed.
  • Respond to hardware Jira tickets.
  • Train and support staff on computer operation and related issues.
  • Build, install and test customised configurations across platforms and operating systems.
  • Liaise with third-party support providers and equipment vendors where needed.

Inventory & Reporting

  • Build and maintain an inventory of monitors, keyboards, hard drives, modems, printers, scanners and other peripherals.
  • Monitor and test PC performance, and report on performance statistics.

Requirements

About You

You will bring:

  • Hands-on experience (2+ years) installing, configuring, diagnosing and repairing PC hardware and peripherals.
  • Working knowledge of networking hardware and workstation operating systems.
  • Experience resolving hardware issues through a ticketing system such as Jira.
  • Clear communication skills, and comfort training and supporting non-technical staff.
  • An organised approach to documentation, inventory and reporting.
  • Experience working with suppliers and third-party vendors.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
