About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, people-focused Healthcare Recruiter to join our team and support recruitment across behavioural health, healthcare, education, and other people-focused sectors.

In this role, you will manage the recruitment process from sourcing and engaging candidates through to screening, interviewing, and ongoing candidate relationship management. You will play an important role in identifying qualified professionals, building talent pipelines, and ensuring candidates have a positive experience throughout the hiring process.

Experience recruiting Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) is highly advantageous. However, we are also open to recruiters with experience in healthcare, medical, education, or similar industries who are eager to learn the requirements of behavioural health recruitment.

The ideal candidate is proactive, organised, confident communicating with people from different backgrounds, and comfortable using digital tools and professional networking platforms to identify and engage talent.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Candidate Sourcing

  • Source and identify qualified candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, social media, and other recruitment channels.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future vacancies.
  • Recruit for behavioural health, healthcare, education, and other people-focused roles.
  • Identify candidates with relevant qualifications, experience, and credentials for specific positions.
  • Proactively approach potential candidates and generate interest in available opportunities.

Screening & Interviewing

  • Review CVs and applications to assess candidate suitability against role requirements.
  • Conduct initial screening calls and structured interviews.
  • Evaluate candidates' experience, communication skills, qualifications, and overall fit.
  • Confirm relevant credentials and experience where required.
  • Provide timely feedback and maintain clear communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.

Candidate Relationship Management

  • Build strong, long-term relationships with candidates and industry professionals.
  • Maintain regular contact with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Develop relationships with referral sources and professional networks to support ongoing recruitment.
  • Ensure candidates receive a professional, respectful, and positive recruitment experience.
  • Keep candidate records and recruitment systems accurate and up to date.

Recruitment Pipeline Management

  • Manage multiple open vacancies and candidate pipelines simultaneously.
  • Track candidate progress through each stage of the recruitment process.
  • Maintain accurate records of sourcing activity, screening outcomes, interviews, and follow-ups.
  • Prioritise tasks effectively to meet recruitment deadlines and hiring requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal team members to align candidate sourcing and screening with client needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
  • Experience managing the recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate follow-up.
  • Experience recruiting for healthcare, behavioural health, education, or other people-focused roles.
  • Experience recruiting BCBAs and RBTs is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with BCBA and RBT roles, professional credentials, and common candidate requirements, or the ability to learn these quickly.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain candidate relationships and professional networks.
  • Confidence engaging candidates through email, social media, LinkedIn, and other professional networking platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple vacancies and candidate pipelines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote team and collaborating with colleagues.

Software & Technical Skills

The successful candidate should be comfortable using recruitment technology and everyday productivity tools to manage their workload efficiently.

Video Interviewing

  • Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or similar video-conferencing platforms.

Productivity Tools

  • Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, including documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.

Email & Calendar Management

  • Microsoft Outlook or Gmail and Google Calendar.

Recruitment Technology

  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment databases, LinkedIn Recruiter, or similar sourcing tools is advantageous.
  • Ability to learn new software, platforms, and recruitment processes quickly.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Candidate sourcing: Ability to proactively identify and engage relevant talent.
  • Relationship building: Confidence developing meaningful professional relationships with candidates and referral partners.
  • Communication: Clear, professional, and engaging communication across different channels.
  • Screening & assessment: Ability to evaluate experience, qualifications, and suitability for a role.
  • Organisation: Strong pipeline management, prioritisation, and follow-up skills.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn new industries, credentials, and recruitment requirements.
  • Technology proficiency: Comfortable working across multiple platforms and recruitment systems.
  • Ownership: A proactive approach to managing recruitment activities and delivering results.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who enjoys connecting people with opportunities and understands that successful recruitment is about more than simply filling vacancies. You should be confident approaching candidates, building talent networks, asking the right screening questions, and maintaining relationships throughout the recruitment process.

A background in healthcare or behavioural health recruitment would be a great advantage, particularly if you have recruited BCBAs or RBTs. However, a strong recruiter from another relevant industry who is proactive, resourceful, and quick to learn could also be a great fit.

If you are passionate about recruitment, relationship building, and helping organisations find the right talent, we'd love to hear from you!

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
