The posting

ICAP Employment Solutions, on behalf of its client, a leading company in the energy sector based in Athens, is currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytical HSEQ Employee to join its team.

Role Overview

The HSEQ Employee will support the effective operation and continuous improvement of the company’s Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Systems. The role involves maintaining HSEQ documentation, collecting and analyzing relevant data, supporting inspections and audits, and assisting with regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides support for the efficient operation, maintenance and improvement of Quality, Health, Safety, Environment and Energy Management Systems;
  • Manages the release and controlled distribution of all internal Management System documentation to company personnel ;
  • Supports the HSEQ unit for the development of new Management Systems;
  • Maintains in an electronic form all the necessary internal documents
  • Collects, monitors and analyzes HSEQ system data (for example environmental indicators, accidents, incidents, working-hours, etc.);
  • Assists in the inspections at local offices / branches in order to achieve safety objectives, providing specialized support to the facility security officer;
  • Collects, monitors and analyzes relevant data and assists in the preparation of reports for the Security System and ensures the timely and accurate entry of the required data into the relevant corporate platforms;
  • Assists in the review and drafting of procedures and instructions related to the Security System;
  • Supports the collection and management of the information and data required for the verification of greenhouse gas emissions, in accordance with the requirements of the National Climate Law and the applicable regulatory framework
  • Supports the collection and monitoring of the required information and data to ensure compliance with the obligations arising from the Emissions Trading System (EU ETS 2)
  • Supports the collection and assessment of HSEQ-related data and information for the preparation and submission of reports of the parent company;
  • Supports the Energy Management Officer with the proper execution of the tasks related to the energy management system (EMS)
  • Confirms that EMS complies with the requirements of ISO 50001

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Energy, Health & Safety, Quality Management or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree in a relevant field will be considered an asset.

Experience

  • Previous work experience in a similar HSEQ, Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental or Energy-related position.
  • Familiarity with Management Systems and ISO standards will be considered an advantage.
  • Experience in the energy sector will be considered a plus.
