LES TÂCHES QUE VOUS ALLEZ ACCOMPLIR 🎯

  • Diriger et exécuter une gamme diversifiée de tâches d'ingénierie telles que la qualification des matériaux, supporter des initiatives de réduction des coûts, la résolution de problèmes de non-conformité des pièces, les problèmes en production et la gestion des changements de matériaux chez les fournisseurs au sein de l'équipe d'ingénierie des matériaux et des procédés.
  • Diriger l'élaboration des plans de test, travailler avec les laboratoires internes et externes, analyser les résultats et examiner/approuver les rapports de test.
  • Soutenir la rédaction, la révision et l'approbation des spécifications des matériaux et des processus de finition et la bibliothèque de Produits Qualifiés Associés.
  • Examiner et approuver les dessins techniques et la documentation des modifications.
  • Soutenir les projets d’innovation et les activités de re-conception, enquêter sur les nouvelles réglementations environnementales ayant un impact sur les technologies de finition.
  • Gérer des problèmes complexes, prendre des décisions techniques difficiles et fournir des mises à jour régulières à la haute direction.
  • Diriger et participer aux initiatives d'optimisation des processus, d’amélioration continue, et de réduction des coûts.
  • Apporter une expertise technique dans les domaines des métaux, traitements de surface, polymères, revêtements, finitions de protection, sellerie, cuir, menuiserie et inflammabilité intérieure.

TASKS YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH 🎯

  • Lead and perform a diversified range of engineering tasks such as leading material qualifications, supporting cost reduction initiatives, solving part non-conformity issues, production line problems and managing supplier material changes as part of the Materials and Processes (M&P) Engineering team.
  • Lead development of test plans, work with internal and external laboratories, analyze results and review/approve test reports.
  • Support writing, review & approval of Materials & Processes Specifications for Completions and associated Qualified Product Library.
  • Review and approve engineering drawings and change documentation.
  • Support innovation projects and re-design activities, investigate new environmental regulations impacting Completions.
  • Handle complex issues, make challenging technical decisions and provide regular status updates to upper management.
  • Lead and participate in process optimization, continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Provide technical expertise in the domains of metallics, surface treatments, polymers, coatings, protective finishes, upholstery, leather, woodworking and interior flammability.

Requirements

VOTRE PROFIL EST ESSENTIEL À NOTRE REUSSITE 💎

  • Vous êtes titulaire d'un baccalauréat en génie des matériaux, mécanique ou chimique d'une université accréditée.
  • Vous possédez un minimum de dix (10) années d'expérience tant qu’ingénieur(e) M&P dans un environnement de production aérospatiale/militaire.
  • Vous disposez de connaissances approfondies sur les matériaux et procédés intérieurs d'avions tels que les traitements de surface, les revêtements, les finitions de protection, le cuir, la sellerie, le travail du bois, etc.
  • Vous connaissez les normes typiques de l'industrie militaire et/ou aérospatiale telles que CMH-17, les spécifications MIL, les réglementations fédérales, les spécifications ASTM, ISO et SAE.
  • Vous avez de solides connaissances sur les exigences d'inflammabilité selon la réglementation FAR 25.
  • Vous maîtrisez les principes de conception technique et la révision des dessins.
  • Vous possédez d’excellentes compétences en organisation et en planification de projets.
  • Vous êtes apte à résoudre des problèmes d'ingénierie dans un environnement sous haute pression et pouvez traiter des problèmes complexes rapidement et de manière indépendante.
  • Vous possédez d'excellentes compétences en communication en anglais et en français (écrit et oral).
  • Vous devez être capable de travailler en équipe et d'interagir en permanence avec la haute direction, les professionnels et les techniciens des autres fonctions de la chaîne de valeur (Méthodes, Qualité, Logistique, etc.)
  • Vous maîtrisez CATIA V5 et la suite Microsoft Office (Excel, Word et PowerPoint).

YOUR PROFILE IS ESSENTIAL TO OUR SUCCESS💎

  • You have a bachelor degree in Materials, Mechanical or Chemical engineering from an accredited university.
  • You have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience working as M&P in an aerospace/military production environment.
  • You have significant knowledge on aircraft interior materials and processes such as surface treatments, coatings, protective finishes, leather, upholstery, woodworking etc.
  • You are knowledgeable about typical military and/or aerospace industry standards such as CMH-17, MIL specs, Federal regulations, ASTM, ISO and SAE specifications.
  • You have strong knowledge about flammability requirements according to FAR 25 regulations.
  • You are proficient in engineering design principles and reviewing drawings.
  • You have excellent organizational and project planning skills.
  • You are adept at solving engineering problems in a high-pressure environment and can deal with complex issues quickly and independently.
  • You have excellent communication skills in English and French (written and oral).
  • You must be able to work in a team environment and interact constantly with Senior Management, Professionals and Technicians from other value stream functions (Methods, Quality, Logistics etc.)
  • You are proficient with CATIA V5 and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
