Buscamos un/a Ingeniero/a Senior de IA para desarrollar y operar soluciones de machine learning e IA generativa en Google Cloud Vertex AI. Es una posición 100% remota para profesionales en LATAM, trabajando con un equipo internacional en inglés.

Resumen del rol Diseñarás e implementarás soluciones de IA en producción, incluyendo motores de recomendación, búsqueda inteligente, clasificación de contenidos y analítica. También trabajarás con MLOps, optimización de costos en GCP, documentación técnica y transferencia de conocimiento al equipo interno.

Proceso de selección

El proceso suele constar de 3-4 etapas y toma en promedio de 3-4 semanas en completarse, dependiendo de eventuales rondas técnicas adicionales o pruebas técnicas:

  • Entrevista inicial con el equipo de reclutamiento de Workana
  • Entrevista técnica con el cliente
  • Entrevista de ajuste cultural con el manager del cliente
  • Entrevista final con C-level

Como Workana cuenta con múltiples clientes, si superas la primera ronda con el equipo de reclutamiento de Workana, también podrás ser considerado/a para otras oportunidades relevantes en caso de que la inicial no prospere.

Responsabilidades

  • Diseñar, desplegar y operar soluciones de ML e IA generativa en Google Cloud Vertex AI.
  • Implementar motores de recomendación, búsqueda semántica y clasificación automática de contenidos.
  • Desarrollar pipelines de metadatos y analítica sobre el catálogo de contenidos y usuarios.
  • Entrenar y poner en producción modelos de aprendizaje automático y LLMs.
  • Implementar prácticas de MLOps: versionado, monitoreo y reentrenamiento de modelos.
  • Colaborar con equipos de producto y datos para priorizar casos de uso de IA.
  • Documentar decisiones técnicas y transferir conocimiento al equipo interno.
  • Monitorear y optimizar costos de cómputo e inferencia en Vertex AI.

Requirements

  • 4+ años de experiencia en Machine Learning e IA, con al menos 1-2 años en Google Cloud Vertex AI en producción.
  • Experiencia sólida en arquitecturas y flujos end-to-end de MLOps.
  • Dominio de modelos generativos, LLMs, embeddings y búsqueda semántica.
  • Experiencia con Python y frameworks de ML (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) en GCP.
  • Capacidad para trabajar con datasets a gran escala y metadatos de contenidos.
  • Autonomía y habilidades de resolución de problemas para llevar modelos a producción.
  • Inglés fluido (mínimo B2+) es obligatorio, ya que el rol implica colaboración con equipos internacionales.
  • Debe estar radicado/a en América Latina.

Deseable

  • Experiencia previa en plataformas de streaming o motores de recomendación.
  • Certificaciones de Google Cloud (Professional Machine Learning Engineer o Data Engineer).
  • Experiencia impartiendo capacitaciones o mentoreando equipos en IA.
