Sobre el puesto

Estamos buscando un/a Ingeniero/a MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) presencial, dinámico/a y con experiencia, para apoyar la construcción y desarrollo de un proyecto de lujo en Cabarete, República Dominicana.

La persona seleccionada reportará directamente al MEP Manager y al Head of Construction, y trabajará dentro de un entorno multidisciplinario, colaborando estrechamente con arquitectos, diseñadores de interiores, ingenieros estructurales, equipos de compras, contratistas y representantes del cliente, con el objetivo de garantizar los más altos estándares en la ejecución y entrega del proyecto.

Para tener éxito en este puesto, es indispensable contar con excelentes habilidades de comunicación y presentación, así como ser una persona puntual, organizada, detallista y autónoma, con una fuerte orientación hacia la calidad y la entrega de resultados.

Responsabilidades

  • Brindar soporte técnico y orientación a los equipos internos de diseño y Quantity Surveying (QS), así como a diseñadores externos, consultores y contratistas durante las diferentes etapas del proceso de diseño.
  • Apoyar en la revisión y evaluación de los diseños de sistemas eléctricos, HVAC y plomería, asegurando su cumplimiento con los requerimientos y estándares del proyecto.
  • Colaborar con arquitectos, ingenieros y gerentes para optimizar la integración de los sistemas eléctricos, HVAC y de plomería dentro del proyecto.
  • Identificar y resolver oportunamente problemas y desafíos técnicos durante la fase de diseño y construcción.
  • Mantenerse actualizado/a respecto a tendencias de la industria, códigos, normativas y regulaciones aplicables a los sistemas eléctricos, HVAC y de plomería.
  • Apoyar en la gestión, control y seguimiento de cambios, modificaciones y variaciones del proyecto, de acuerdo con los procedimientos establecidos por la empresa.
  • Trabajar de manera coordinada con los diferentes equipos involucrados para garantizar una correcta ejecución de los sistemas MEP en obra.ne.

Requirements

  • Título universitario en Ingeniería Mecánica o Ingeniería Eléctrica, idealmente con especialización o experiencia relevante en HVAC y sistemas mecánicos.
  • Entre 7 y 15 años de experiencia en consultoría de diseño, empresas constructoras o contratistas generales.
  • Experiencia trabajando en proyectos residenciales y de hospitalidad de baja altura, incluyendo residencias privadas, villas, hoteles y resorts de lujo.
  • Excelentes habilidades de comunicación y presentación.
  • Dominio de Revit y AutoCAD.
  • Nivel profesional de inglés, tanto escrito como hablado.
  • Capacidad para trabajar de manera presencial en Cabarete, República Dominicana.
  • Excelentes habilidades de organización, atención al detalle y gestión de múltiples tareas.
  • Experiencia previa trabajando en proyectos en el Caribe.
  • Experiencia en proyectos de hospitalidad y residencias de ultra lujo.
  • Conocimiento de códigos y normativas de construcción aplicables en la región del Caribe.
