IFP Motion Solutions is looking for an Inside Sales Coordinator to join their team! The Inside Sales Coordinator plays a critical role in managing incoming customer orders and inquiries and providing exceptional technical support.

About IFP:

IFP Motion Solutions Inc. is a growing motion control company based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, with operations in 13 states. All locations work together to provide a range of services including manufacturing, repair, design engineering, and distribution of components. Their customer base includes industrial manufacturers, mobile integrations, and fluid power OEMs. With a knowledgeable sales team and a large inventory, they have the capability to design, prototype, manufacture, and service a wide range of motion control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Call Management:

  • Prioritize incoming phone calls
  • Checking pricing, product and lead times for customers and internal partners
  • Ensure timely and efficient handling of customer inquiries and concerns

Order Processing:

  • Enter and process customer service requests accurately through the data system
  • Perform order maintenance, addressing changes related to pricing, quantity, delivery, or any other modifications after order entry

Technical Support:

  • Provide technical information and assistance to customers, enabling them to make informed decisions on product selection

Customer Communication:

  • Maintain regular communication with customers regarding order status, shipping updates, quotes, and addressing any concerns they may have
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination between departments in addressing customer needs

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service/sales experience
  • Proven track record of effectively managing customer inquiries and providing exceptional service
  • High School Diploma

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Mechanical aptitude is a big plus, with knowledge of hydraulics and/or automation considered advantageous
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree is a plus, demonstrating a commitment to professional development
  • Technically savvy with the Microsoft suite; experience with CRM/ERP systems is strongly preferred. Especially Prophet 21 CRM
