The posting

We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Specialist / Consultant to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to adult patients, managing a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.

Candidates with UK CCT, Western Qualified, American Board, Australian Board, and South African Board qualifications are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions in adult patients.
  • Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Manage conditions including diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, respiratory disorders, infections, and other complex medical conditions.
  • Evaluate complex cases and coordinate referrals to appropriate medical specialists.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically required.
  • Provide preventive healthcare, lifestyle counseling, and patient education.
  • Collaborate with specialists, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and clinical case discussions.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
  • Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, teaching, and professional development activities.
  • Maintain high standards of patient safety and evidence-based clinical practice.

Requirements

  • MBBS, MD, or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
  • Recognized postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine.
  • Relevant post-specialization clinical experience as a Specialist / Consultant in Internal Medicine.
  • Strong clinical experience in diagnosing and managing acute and chronic adult medical conditions.
  • Experience managing complex medical cases and providing comprehensive patient care.
  • Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered care and professional clinical standards.
