We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologist – Specialist / Consultant to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide minimally invasive, image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and work closely with multidisciplinary medical teams.
Candidates with UK CCT, Western Qualified, American Board, Australian Board, and South African Board qualifications are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform image-guided minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Assess patients and determine appropriate interventional radiology treatment plans.
- Perform procedures such as vascular interventions, biopsies, drainage procedures, angiography, embolization, and image-guided treatments, according to clinical expertise.
- Review and interpret relevant CT, MRI, ultrasound, and angiographic imaging.
- Conduct pre-procedure assessments and provide appropriate post-procedure care.
- Monitor patients during and after procedures and manage potential complications.
- Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, emergency physicians, intensivists, and other specialists.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and treatment planning discussions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and procedure documentation.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, teaching, and professional development activities.
- Maintain high standards of patient safety, infection control, and clinical practice.
Requirements
- MBBS, MD, or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Recognized postgraduate qualification in Radiology / Diagnostic Radiology with appropriate fellowship or advanced training in Interventional Radiology.
- Relevant post-specialization clinical experience in Interventional Radiology.
- Strong experience in image-guided interventional procedures.
- Experience in vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of CT, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopic imaging.
- Excellent clinical, procedural, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
