The posting

Lyst is a global fashion shopping platform founded in London in 2010 and catering to over 160M shoppers per year. We offer our customers the largest assortment of premium and luxury fashion products in one place, curating pieces from 27,000 of the world's leading brands and stores. In 2025, Lyst joined Zozo, operators of Zozotown, the leading fashion e-commerce platform in Japan. This partnership marks a bold new era for Lyst, as we accelerate our vision and work together to transform the future of fashion shopping through AI and technology.

At Lyst, we obsess over the customer, providing a search and discovery experience which offers inspiration, fulfilment, and personalisation. We believe that fashion is amazing but shopping for fashion often isn't, and we use our technology, data and creativity to bring more joy, greater choice and fewer fails. Our mission is to help fashion shoppers make better decisions and help fashion partners find better audiences as the category-leading destination for every fashion shopper.

The Role

We are looking for an iOS Engineer to join our Product Development tribe.

You will help build shopping experiences that customers love—whether through personalised member experiences, inspiring discovery journeys, or engaging browsing experiences that keep users coming back.

Working as part of a cross-functional product squad, you will collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Data Scientists, Analysts, and Engineers to deliver high-quality mobile experiences that delight customers and drive business impact.

You will contribute to the next generation of fashion shopping experiences, helping us use personalisation, AI-powered experiences, and exceptional mobile design to create a best-in-class customer journey.

iOS Development: Build and maintain native iOS features using modern Apple technologies, contributing throughout the software development lifecycle from implementation to release.

Product Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Design, and Data teams to understand customer needs and deliver impactful solutions.

Engineering Excellence: Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while continuously improving your technical skills and understanding of the platform.

Learning & Growth: Develop expertise in our mobile architecture, engineering practices, experimentation framework, and product strategy while learning from experienced engineers across the organisation.

Within your first 3 months, you will work on:

Delivery: Contribute to production features, bug fixes, and experiments that improve the customer experience.

Collaboration: Build strong relationships within your squad and become an active participant in planning, delivery, and technical discussions.

Technical Growth: Gain confidence working across our mobile architecture, development tools, and release processes.

Ownership: Take responsibility for delivering well-tested, high-quality work while continuously improving your technical craft.

The Tech Stack & Culture

We work in a "You build it, you ship it, you operate it" culture with a strong emphasis on ownership, experimentation, and continuous improvement.

  • Mobile: Swift, SwiftUI, iOS SDK
  • Architecture: MVVM, Clean Architecture, SOLID principles
  • Tooling & Delivery: Swift Package Manager, Bitrise, Fastlane, CI/CD pipelines
  • Testing: Strong focus on Unit Testing, UI Testing, experimentation, and product measurement

Requirements

iOS Development Experience: You have experience building and shipping native iOS applications using Swift.

Modern Mobile Engineering: You are comfortable working with SwiftUI, the iOS SDK, and modern mobile development practices.

Quality Mindset: You care about writing maintainable, well-tested code and delivering a high-quality user experience.

Curiosity & Learning: You enjoy learning new technologies, understanding customer problems, and continuously improving your skills.

Collaboration: You work well within cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with engineers, designers, and product managers.

Product Thinking: You understand that successful products require balancing technical excellence with customer and business outcomes.

Bonus points if you have experience with:

  • Consumer-facing mobile applications
  • A/B testing and experimentation
  • E-commerce, marketplace, or discovery products
  • SwiftUI in production environments

We are committed to treating all applicants fairly and equally, and encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply for this role. We are happy to talk about flexible working arrangements.

Don’t meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and people of colour are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Lyst we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
