The company offers the opportunity to those who wish to express interest in the position of “IT Officer | Υπάλληλος Πληροφοριακών Συστημάτων”, for its premises in Chalkidiki. The position will be reported to the Head of IT of the IT department in Olympias.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the daily operations of the HG IT department including administrative computing, networking, user services, telecommunications and other IT functions and tasks.
  • Provide support for IT and Business Systems H/W and S/W (Antivirus Systems, Ticketing, Access Control, Surveillance, Environ. Monitoring, Health & Safety Fleet Mon. System, etc.) up to Tier 2 Support.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of enterprise IT systems and network infrastructure for LAN and WAN connectivity and remote access for supporting business operations.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and implementation of changes in equipment/system and software.
  • Provide support for Network Systems H/W and S/W (Switches, OA&M and up to Tier 2 Support).
  • Assist in the deployment, configuration and commissioning of network infrastructure and communication systems (Copper, F.O., Wireless PtP, Wi-Fi, Base Stations, Radio Consoles, Mobiles and Handsets), as well as in their H/W and S/W support.
  • Support UG Communication & Automation System H/W and S/W (TETRA, IP telephony, Wi-Fi, Personnel tracking, Video Surveillance, telephony devices, Servers etc.).

Requirements:

  • Secondary level / Vocational diploma or any other relevant certification in IT-related field.
  • A higher-level diploma/degree and/or other relevant certification is desirable but not required.
  • 1–3 years of experience working in a demanding IT and business environment, including deployment of computer, network and telecommunications systems.
  • Hands-on experience in IT hardware and software deployment and configuration.
  • Familiarity with Azure/Office 365 and ADUC.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong IT skills and in-depth knowledge combined with a good understanding of IT operations.
  • Ability to understand complex information and requirements.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to explain complex systems in simple terms.
  • Valid driving license.
