About the Role

Join our global team as a UL3 System Analyst and play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our client’s life insurance contract management system (CMS). You'll handle day-to-day operations, support production environments, and drive system improvements by analyzing requirements and collaborating with the vendor. This role is ideal for IT professionals with insurance industry experience looking to make an impact!

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage and support IT systems and processes that facilitate regular operational tasks, including invoicing, dunning, processing incoming and outgoing payments, and enabling various business workflows on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues using Jira ticketing system.
  • Collect, analyze, and test client requirements for system changes or new implementations.
  • Configure the CMS system for business needs, ensuring high-quality outputs to minimize production issues.
  • Ensure processes are executed with attention to detail in a live production environment.
  • Actively participate in cross-functional project teams to ensure UL3 system alignment with broader organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Excellent English language skills (written and oral) to collaborate effectively with an international environment. French or Dutch is considered a plus.
  • Experience in the Insurance sector, preferably life insurance.
  • Educational background in Informatics, Computer Science or a related field, candidates with a mix of business and IT experience are also welcome.
  • Experience in maintenance, support and monitoring of IT application systems.
  • Experience in IT testing and UAT support.
  • Experience in writing Functional/Technical documentation and using knowledge management tools like Confluence.
  • Understanding of the key factors behind IT operational performance.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Jira.
  • Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming concepts or Object-Based scripting languages (e.g., VB scripting) is considered a plus.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
  • Proven ability to prioritize, multitask and deliver high quality results in a timely manner.
  • Ability to develop strong work relationships at peer and management level.
  • Attention to detail and a sense of responsibility to work autonomously in a production environment.
  • Experience in working in a collaborative international environment.
