Are you looking to kickstart your career in tech and healthcare? Orion Health is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Implementation Consultant to join our team based in our Madrid office. You’ll be part of a global mission to improve healthcare for everyone—by helping deliver cutting-edge software solutions to healthcare providers worldwide.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Junior Implementation Consultant, you will contribute to the configuration and implementation of Orion Health’s software solutions, supporting clients throughout their transition to “business as usual.” You’ll play an integral role in translating functional and technical requirements into configured software solutions and support their deployment in real-world healthcare settings.

You will:

· Assist in designing, configuring, and testing software based on project requirements.

· Participate in the full implementation lifecycle, including documentation, testing (System, Integration, and Performance), and deployment.

· Support post-go-live maintenance and issue resolution.

· Perform data-related tasks such as extraction, transformation, and loading using RDBMS tools.

· Prepare and maintain technical documentation for both internal teams and clients.

· Participate in quality, safety, environmental, and information security programs.

· Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

· Continuously update your knowledge through security training and best-practice learning.

What you will bring to the role

· A passion for software, problem-solving, and delivering excellent client outcomes.

· An interest in health tech and a desire to grow your knowledge in system implementation.

· Willingness to participate in ongoing training related to security, safety, and compliance.

· A mindset focused on accountability, learning, and improvement.

· Ability to manage confidential information responsibly and follow IT security protocols.

· Strong collaboration skills to contribute to safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes.

Experience

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a software-related role such as a junior developer, support analyst, or intern.
  • Exposure to software development environments or system implementation projects.
  • A demonstrated interest in the software development lifecycle and client delivery.

Bonus experience (advantageous but not essential):

  • Java, JavaScript, or .NET programming languages.
  • Technologies such as HTML, SQL, XML, Internet Protocols, LINUX, or Windows.

Skills

  • Basic understanding of RDBMS and ability to perform simple data manipulation tasks.
  • Familiarity with issue tracking systems for problem management and resolution.
  • Clear and adaptive communicator who can engage with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Analytical thinker with logical problem-solving skills and good judgment on when to escalate.

Characteristics

  • Customer Focused: Actively investigates client needs and works to meet them.
  • Communicator: Builds strong relationships and communicates clearly and respectfully.
  • Achiever: Takes initiative, prioritises effectively, and delivers consistent results.
  • Team Player: Listens actively, contributes constructively, and supports the team’s success.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
