The posting

MBA Consulting Services, Inc. (MBA CSi) is seeking a Junior Project Manager to support the United States Postal Service (USPS) Technology Acquisition Management team. In this role, you will help coordinate high-impact engineering and technology projects supporting the development, testing, implementation, and nationwide deployment of automated mail and package processing systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career project management professional who wants to build experience supporting large-scale technical initiatives. You’ll work alongside engineers, technology manufacturers, vendors, and USPS leadership to help move innovative automation solutions from initial planning and pilot implementation through nationwide deployment.

As part of the team, you’ll gain hands-on experience managing schedules, budgets, deliverables, equipment installations, and project risks while contributing to technology programs that support USPS operations across the country.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate technical and engineering projects from planning through implementation and deployment.
  • Track project schedules, milestones, budgets, action items, and deliverables.
  • Develop project status reports, presentations, and executive-level briefings.
  • Coordinate with engineers, manufacturers, vendors, and USPS stakeholders to support project requirements and objectives.
  • Coordinate equipment delivery, installation schedules, and site-readiness activities across USPS facilities.
  • Support pilot implementations, equipment testing, and nationwide technology rollouts.
  • Assist with the development of user training materials, implementation plans, and supporting project documentation.
  • Identify and track project risks, issues, and dependencies and assist with resolving concerns before they impact project schedules.
  • Maintain accurate project schedules and documentation using Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Facilitate communication among technical teams, suppliers, project stakeholders, and executive leadership.
  • Manage multiple priorities and project activities within a fast-paced technical environment.
  • Support occasional off-hours project activities and travel as required by project needs.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3+ years of project management, project coordination, or related experience.
  • Experience supporting technical, engineering, manufacturing, automation, or technology-focused projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects, priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, vendors, customers, and leadership.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
