  • Prepare hearing notebooks, trial binders, witness files, and exhibit lists.
  • Monitor court deadlines, scheduling orders, and statutes of limitation to ensure timely filings.
  • Coordinate electronic filing (e-filing) with Texas courts and maintain organized litigation files.
  • Assist attorneys in developing litigation strategy and identifying legal issues throughout the life of each case.
  • Mentor and train junior and international paralegals, ensuring consistency and quality across the litigation team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal in Texas Plaintiff Personal Injury & Civil Litigation.
  • Extensive experience drafting substantive motions and supporting documents with minimal supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, Texas Rules of Evidence, and Texas Civil Practice & Remedies Code.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform advanced legal research and prepare persuasive legal arguments.
  • Experience preparing discovery, hearing materials, and trial documents.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced litigation environment.
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality legal work.
  • Experience mentoring or supervising other paralegals is preferred.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Performance-based bonus opportunities
  • Medical and dental benefits
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • Professional development and advancement opportunities
  • A collaborative and supportive legal team
  • The opportunity to make a meaningful impact at a growing Plaintiff Personal Injury law firm

If you are an experienced Texas Law & Motions Paralegal who thrives in a challenging litigation environment and takes pride in producing exceptional legal work, we encourage you to apply.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
