The posting

Location: Miami, FL — local applicants only (hybrid, ~2 days/week on site)

🕒 Schedule: Full-time · Monday–Friday, with flexibility for occasional urgent items

📄 Type: 1099 contractor to start, with the potential to convert to full employment

✈️ Travel: Occasional domestic (US) travel for events

About the Role

A husband-and-wife team who run a fast-growing business together are hiring their first Miami-based Life Manager to support them both. They currently work with a remote assistant, but everything that has to happen in person — deliveries, vendors, appointments, event logistics — still lands on them. This role exists to take all of it off their plate.

It is a genuinely mixed role: roughly two-thirds personal and household management, one-third operational support for the business, with event planning as the single biggest area where they need help. One hour you are booking flights and coordinating a repair at the apartment; the next you are managing vendors and merch for a launch event.

You will not be inheriting someone else's system. You are building it, and then running it so well that neither of them has to think about logistics again.

What You'll Own

Household & Personal

- Receive, open and redirect deliveries; keep the home orderly and running

- Source and coordinate vendors for repairs and maintenance

- Keep the residence looked after during extended trips (1–2 months): cleaning, flowers, general upkeep

- Book flights, hotels and full travel itineraries

- Pet logistics: airline registration for the dog, hand-offs with the dog trainer, vet visits, vaccinations, grooming

- Vehicles: servicing schedules and insurance renewals

- Research and book personal appointments — doctors, specialists and other service providers

- Source personal service providers on request (for example, tennis, strength or marathon-training coaches)

Events & Business Operations

- Plan and run events end to end: venues, vendors, merch, timelines and on-site execution

- Travel domestically to events when needed

- Manage small vendor relationships and help review straightforward agreements

- Keep communication and task tracking tight in Slack and spreadsheets

Requirements

- Based in Miami, with a valid driver's license and your own car — the role requires being physically present and running errands

- 1+ year of professional experience owning tasks end to end. Formal life manager or assistant experience is welcome but not required; drive and follow-through matter more

- Detail-obsessed. You track everything and nothing falls through the cracks

- Resourceful and self-directed: given a goal, you figure out the how. You try first and ask second

- Proactive — you handle things before you are asked

- Comfortable switching between personal/household work and business/event work, and supporting two principals

- Able to travel domestically on occasion

- Discreet and trustworthy — you will have access to personal and financial information

- Excellent written and spoken English

- Comfortable working as a 1099 contractor

Nice to Have

- Event coordination or production experience (venues, vendors, merch, activations)

- Experience supporting a founder, executive or couple directly

- Household and vendor management experience

- Experience with pet travel logistics

Benefits

Compensation & Benefits

- Paid time off plus national holidays

- Mileage/gas stipend for the driving the role requires

- 1099 contract to start

- Direct, close working relationship with two founders who give real autonomy

- A role you get to design rather than maintain, with genuine day-to-day variety

First 90 Days — What Success Looks Like

- Deliveries, household vendors and appointments run without either principal being involved

- Travel — including pet travel — is booked and documented before it becomes urgent

- One event is executed with you owning the vendor, merch and venue coordination

- A simple, reliable system exists for tracking requests, deadlines and follow-ups

Important Notes

This role requires complete discretion and confidentiality. The people who thrive here enjoy variety, take ownership without being asked twice, and get satisfaction from making other people's lives run smoothly.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
