The posting

La persona a ocupar el puesto de Logistics Specialist será responsable de brindar un servicio al cliente de excelencia y asistirá a nuestros clientes en las ordenes. Se asegurará de coordinar la logistica de dichas ordenes para asgurar una entrega oportuna.

  • Recibir órdenes a través del sistema EDI, vía teléfono y/o correo electrónico.
  • Validar las órdenes recibidas.
  • Responder llamadas y correos electrónicos.
  • Organizar las órdenes por fecha de entrega para proceder a hacer las citas con los clientes.
  • Analizar el inventario en planta y con este análisis poder solicitar los “bookings” para despachar a los diferentes almacenes.
  • Preparar los documentos de las transferencias a los almacenes.
  • Enviar a la naviera la documentación y las citas de entregas de los contenedores.
  • Coordinar con los almacenes las citas de entregas de los contenedores enviados de Puerto Rico.
  • Registrar en los diferentes sistemas de los almacenes toda orden a ser despachada, para luego enviar la confirmación de recogido al camionero.
  • Coordinar citas en los sistemas de los diferentes clientes
  • Preparar tablas para recopilar informacion del inventario.
  • Darles seguimiento a las órdenes despachadas desde Puerto Rico a los clientes de Estados Unidos.
  • Solicitud el POD a los “carriers”.
  • Facturar todas las órdenes despachadas.
  • Otras tareas asignadas por la Gerencia.

Requirements

  • Bachillerato en Supply Chain, Logística o áreas relacionadas.
  • Experiencia en logística, cadena de suministro o transporte.
  • Dominio avanzado de Microsoft Excel.
  • Excelentes habilidades de análisis y resolución de problemas.
  • Bilingue.
  • Capacidad para trabajar de manera independiente y en equipo.
  • Excelente comunicación verbal y escrita.
  • Atención al detalle y capacidad organizativa.
