The posting

We are Winbro. We are at the heart of the green hydrogen revolution enabling production of next generation fuel cells with our ultra fast laser drilling and welding technologies. Our technology is capable of producing highly complex micro parts to micron level accuracies, creating a revolution in personalised drug delivery and medical care. Our equipment is capable of producing highly complex semiconductor parts, enabling next level efficiencies in electronics manufacturing.

JOIN US as a Machine Operator at our Rock Hill facility and we can offer you an opportunity to work in a high-tech, specialist company working with some of the best global names in aerospace, medical, semiconductor and clean energy. Becoming a Machine Operator allows you to experience both the joy of working with your hands and the excitement of using our cutting-edge technologies. You get the benefit of seeing a physical representation of your effort in the components you help create.

We hire for attitude over experience as we love to train great people and offer them a real opportunity to learn, develop and progress – in fact many of our senior colleagues started as Machine Operators.

If you’re successful, you will work 12-hour shifts, 13-14 days over a 4-week rotation on day shift. Due to this pattern, you get 7 days straight off once a month – this is in addition to vacation and PTO. We offer a climate controlled and clean environment for a comfortable working day. We treat our colleagues with respect and understanding and are regularly told by colleagues that we provide a great place to work with great people.

Your day-to-day would involve:

  • Operating multi-axis CNC machine tools.
  • Inspection of completed operations using CMM's, optical vision systems, and manual gauges & tooling.
  • Changing consumables such as electrodes and tooling.
  • Complete daily preventive maintenance checks.
  • Assist in the development of new product introduction programs.

Requirements

If you are a US Citizen or existing Green Card holder, a high school graduate or have a GED and have basic computer literacy and an ability to meet minimum OSHA lifting guidelines, please apply today.

Benefits

We can offer you $16.80 per hour starting pay, first year insentives, and a generous benefits package that is unsurpassed in this geographical area, including:

  • Low-cost health insurance plan for the employees and their families including medical, dental & vision plans, short- and long-term disability, company paid life insurance, voluntary buy-up life insurance, and voluntary plans such as Hospital Indemnity, Critical Illness, and Accident Insurance.
  • Matching 401K plan.
  • 9 paid holidays, 5 paid personal days, and a very generous paid vacation time.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

The numbers game

More applications. More interviews.

Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting and paid once. Send enough of them and the law of large numbers finds you the job.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
