Pay is based on experience with a range of $21 to $26 per hour, in addition there is a 10% shift differential for the 2nd shift hours.

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Machine Operator I, specializing in Fiber Laser operations for 2nd shift. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with manufacturing equipment, ensuring precision and quality in every cut. The ideal candidate will be passionate about manufacturing excellence, safety, and continuous improvement, contributing to our dynamic production team.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor fiber laser cutting machines with precision, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards
  • Set up machine parameters using CNC programming, CAM programming, and blueprint reading to produce accurate parts
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of fiber laser equipment to maximize efficiency
  • Utilize mechanical knowledge and hand tools for material handling, fabrication, and tooling adjustments
  • Conduct quality control checks using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions
  • Maintain detailed documentation of production runs, machine logs, and inspection reports
  • Participate in 5S and Kaisan activities and projects.
  • Follow safety protocols diligently while handling materials, tools, and machinery on the factory floor
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proven experience operating fiber laser cutting machines or similar CNC equipment in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings accurately and work efficiently
  • Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience emphasizing quality control, machining accuracy, and safety compliance.
