The posting

A leading company in the satellite and space technology sector is seeking a MAITE Planner (Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration and Testing) to join its operations in Athens. The role will serve as a central planning point across Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, Procurement and Quality, ensuring that satellite manufacturing demand is translated into an integrated and executable production plan.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and continuously optimize an integrated master schedule across Engineering, Production, Stock & Logistics, Procurement, Quality, and Cleanroom & Lab operations.
  • Translate satellite production demand into executable departmental plans, ensuring alignment with technical requirements, material availability, workforce, equipment, and facility capacity.
  • Lead daily and weekly planning activities, monitor progress against schedule, identify potential risks or bottlenecks, and drive timely mitigation actions with the relevant teams.
  • Develop and maintain critical path analyses, capacity plans, production schedules, and planning dashboards to support operational visibility and effective decision-making.
  • Integrate new product introductions, engineering changes, prototype and qualification builds into the overall production plan while minimizing disruption to ongoing manufacturing activities.
  • Coordinate planned downtime, equipment maintenance, calibration activities, quality inspections, and Cleanroom interventions to protect production capacity and delivery timelines.
  • Identify material shortages and long-lead component risks early, working closely with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to minimize potential impact on production.
  • Maintain planning and production data accuracy within ERP/MRP/MES systems and define and track key planning KPIs, including on-time delivery, schedule adherence, cycle time, material availability, and equipment capacity.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Production, Industrial, Operations, or Manufacturing Planning within a technology-driven environment such as aerospace, defense, automotive, semiconductor, maritime, or medical devices.
  • Proven experience in building and owning complex master schedules across multiple departments, production lines, or technical workstreams.
  • Strong knowledge of capacity planning across workforce, equipment, materials, and facilities, combined with a solid understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP/MES systems and scheduling or project planning tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, or MS Project.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to forecasting, prioritization, risk identification, and operational decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate competing priorities across multidisciplinary teams and a strong command of English.
  • Ability to read and understand technical manufacturing documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, work instructions, and engineering change documentation.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, S&OP, or basic scripting/automation tools such as Python would be considered an advantage.

Benefits

  • Annual Gross Compensation: Base Salary €40.000 - €60.000
  • Career development and growth opportunities

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
