The posting

The Manager - Bid Management owns the bid function across ZainTech’s markets in Jordan, UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Bahrain and Iraq. The role sets and runs a single, consistent bid process, improves win rates on qualified opportunities, and makes sure every submission is compliant, on time and priced with margin discipline.

Working closely with Sales, Presales, Finance and Delivery, turning opportunities into compelling, competitive proposals and builds a bid team and toolkit that scales with the business.

Responsibilities:

Bid Strategy and Qualification

  • Define and run the bid/no-bid governance process, with clear qualification criteria and approval gates.
  • Work with account owners to shape win strategies, win themes and competitive positioning for priority pursuits.
  • Prioritise bid resources against pipeline value, win probability and strategic fit.

Bid Execution

  • Lead RFPs, RFQs, RFIs and tenders end to end, from kick-off and compliance matrix through to final submission.
  • Manage government and enterprise tenders, including submissions through public e-procurement portals in each market.
  • Coordinate contributors across Presales, Delivery, Legal, Finance and partners to hit deadlines with no compliance gaps.
  • Own proposal quality: structure, executive summaries, solution narrative and consistent ZainTech positioning.
  • Lead clarification questions, post-submission presentations and best-and-final-offer rounds with the account team.

Pricing and Commercials

  • Partner with Finance and Presales on pricing models, cost build-ups and commercial terms.
  • Run commercial and risk reviews before submission to protect gross profit and flag contractual exposure.
  • Make sure pricing approvals follow the company’s delegation of authority.

Process, Content and Tooling

  • Design and maintain the bid process, templates, checklists and standard operating procedures.
  • Build and govern a reusable content library (company credentials, case studies, CVs, certifications, standard responses).
  • Link bid activity to Salesforce opportunities so that bid status, effort and outcomes are tracked in one place.
  • Look for ways to cut bid cycle time, including the use of automation and AI-assisted drafting tools.

Team Leadership

  • Build, lead and develop a team of bid managers and bid writers across the region.
  • Set objectives, manage performance and grow bid capability through coaching and training.
  • Scale the team model with the pipeline, using partners or contractors for peak demand where needed.

Reporting and Continuous Improvement

  • Report bid pipeline, submissions, win/loss and bid performance to the Revenue Office and leadership.
  • Run win/loss reviews and customer debriefs, and feed lessons learned back into the process and content.
  • Track competitor activity and pricing trends seen in tenders.

Our Culture & Code of Conduct:

At ZainTECH, we take pride in a culture built on collaboration, innovation, and uncompromising integrity. We are looking for individuals who share these values and are committed to customer-centricity and ethical excellence. All employees are expected to uphold our Code of Conduct, which serves as a guiding framework for responsible behavior across everything we do — from how we work with each other to how we engage with clients and partners globally.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of bid or proposal management experience in IT services, systems integration, cloud or telecom, with a strong GCC track record.
  • 5+ years leading bid or proposal teams.
  • Proven experience managing large, complex public sector tenders in KSA, Kuwait or Jordan.
  • Solid commercial understanding: pricing, cost models, margins and contract risk.
  • Experience with Salesforce or another CRM, and with proposal automation or content management tools.
  • Exposure to managed services and recurring revenue contracts.
  • Experience building a bid function or redesigning bid processes.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English, with excellent business writing in both.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, IT or a related field.
  • APMP Practitioner or Professional certification.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
