The posting

Founded in 2015 in Athens, Greece, Welcome redefines the way people travel by going above and beyond the commoditized transfer service and being the first company to deliver a complete, personalised, in-destination travel experience. From the moment a traveler arrives at a new destination, until their return journey home, Welcome accommodates all their travel needs, including transfers, sightseeing trips, and local information, in the easiest, friendliest, and most personalised way possible. Welcome's drivers are experts in the area and share their local know-how to make travellers feel at home wherever they are. The company has also introduced contactless rides, thorough cleaning protocols, and protective equipment to make every journey safe.

Being a travel tech startup, Welcome continues to grow and scale its operations and is quickly becoming a global category leader for in-destination travel services.

  • One of the highest-rated global transportation companies with a rating of 4.9/5 stars.
  • Expanded from 200 destinations last year to 350, achieving our ambitious 2024 growth target.
  • Over 4,000 travel partners including 2,500 hotels, numerous vacation rentals, and travel agents, adding 50+ new ones every month.

The Team

We are a group of vibrant, diverse people who love travelling and never settle on quality. Each one of us didn’t join Welcome by chance and believes deeply in what Welcome is trying to achieve, so we work relentlessly to make that happen. We challenge common logic, focus on design, put simplicity and usability first, and create memorable experiences. We keep learning and exploring better ways to serve our community and grow personally and professionally in our respective fields. We stay humble along the way, with a “pay it forward” mentality, but with big and bold goals.

As a MarTech Manager at Welcome Pickups, you will be owning the technical backbone connecting our customer data to the platforms our Commercial team runs on - Braze, HubSpot, and the tooling around them - and acting as the technical bridge between Commercial and our central Product team. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role: it builds and maintains the data pipelines, integrations, and platform infrastructure that CRM and Marketing depend on, implementing the requirements and tooling decisions the CRM team sets rather than setting them independently. This role owns the data, pipelines, and platform administration behind Commercial's marketing technology - keeping customer data clean, audiences flowing reliably into Braze, HubSpot, Google, and Meta, and the stack running day-to-day - while campaign strategy, content, and budget stay with CRM and Marketing.

Responsibilities

Customer Data & Audience Infrastructure

  • Own the technical architecture of the customer database — how data is captured from Braze, HubSpot, site, product, and other sources, and how it's structured and kept clean.
  • Define identity resolution, consent, and suppression logic for marketing data flows, partnering with Data and Engineering.
  • Build and maintain the marketing activation layer on top of the data warehouse — defining and delivering the customer attributes and audiences CRM and Marketing need, to their specifications.
  • Own the pipelines that push audiences and attributes from the warehouse into Braze, HubSpot, Google, and Meta, and the engagement data flowing back in, including coverage, freshness, and failure handling.

MarTech Platform Administration

  • Own day-to-day technical administration of the Commercial team's marketing technology stack — Braze, HubSpot, and Google Tag Manager.
  • Implement and configure new platforms once tooling decisions are made by the CRM team; lead technical rollout and integration rather than tool selection.
  • Maintain documentation of how the stack fits together — data flows, integrations, and ownership.
  • Identify and remove technical friction in Commercial's day-to-day tooling and workflows, partnering with Product and Data to automate manual work.

Commercial-Product Liaison

  • Collect and triage technical feature requests from Partnerships, Marketing, Pricing, and CRM, sequencing them into a clear delivery backlog.
  • Build business cases for prioritised initiatives, framing expected impact, effort, and trade-offs.
  • Represent Commercial in Product's planning and prioritisation forums, and keep Commercial informed on delivery status and trade-offs.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in CRM/marketing technology, growth or lifecycle operations, or a technical product management role, ideally in a B2C or marketplace business.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM/marketing automation platforms such as Braze, HubSpot, Iterable, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and audience/segmentation tooling such as Segment, mParticle, or Tealium.
  • Solid understanding of customer data concepts: identity resolution, consent and permissions, event tracking, and how data flows between systems via APIs.
  • Product management fundamentals: prioritisation frameworks, writing user stories and requirements, and partnering effectively with engineering and design teams to ship.
  • Comfortable building a business case, framing impact, effort, and trade-offs to support clear decision-making.
  • Strong technical implementer who thrives executing within someone else's roadmap and tooling decisions, rather than setting technology strategy independently.
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator, able to work closely with Data & Analytics, Product, and Commercial teams.
  • Experience in fast-growth environments; comfortable with ambiguity and evolving scope.
  • Experience in travel, mobility, marketplaces, or similar multi-sided businesses is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.

Benefits

  • Vibrant and fresh work environment
  • Flexible work-from-home policy
  • The tools you need to perform your daily tasks successfully
  • L&D personal budget
  • Private Insurance Plan
  • +4 extra PTO days annually
  • The unique opportunity to join “the next big thing” at ground level

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
