This two-day experience is designed to help you explore the profession, build meaningful connections, and discover what it takes to succeed as an accounting student and future professional. You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Explore life in public accounting and learn what a typical day looks like inside an accounting firm.
  • Connect with professionals and peers through networking, conversations, and relationship-building.
  • Hear real career stories from our team, including how they started their careers and grew into their current roles.
  • Experience our culture and learn what makes Meadows Urquhart more than just a place to work.
  • Gain valuable insights into internships, career opportunities, and how to kickstart your career in accounting.

Whether you’re just beginning to explore accounting or already planning your future in public accounting, this externship is a chance to ask questions, make connections, and see what’s possible.

About Us:

Founded in 2004, Meadows Urquhart is a fast-growing CPA firm of about 50 employees. We provide tax, assurance, and consulting services to mid-sized privately held companies, high-net-worth individuals, nonprofits, and financial services. We work with clients who value consultative relationships and want to reach their potential. Our “In Your Shoes” process allows us to understand the issues that business owners face, and the roadblocks that are preventing them from achieving their goals.

We are dedicated to each of our staff’s professional development. We provide the training, tools, and resources for each level of our firm to advance in their careers.   • Currently studying accounting or interested in pursuing a degree in accounting.

  • Interested in potential internship opportunities for Summer 2028.
