The posting

Robeauté is redefining the future of brain therapies through the first microrobotic platform designed to navigate the human brain with unprecedented precision. This new generation of medical microrobots will be able to diagnose, treat, and monitor the brain from within, overcoming the persistent limitations in treating neurological diseases that affect more than one in three people worldwide.

Since its founding in 2017, Robeauté has filed more than 50 patent applications. We recently raised €27 million in a Series A round led by Plural, Cherry Ventures, Kindred Ventures, and Brainlab, fueling our next phase of growth.

To support our organization growth, we are looking for an Engineering Test Specialist to execute engineering and verification testing on our robotic medical devices. Working closely with Systems, Hardware, Software, Mechanical, and Test Infrastructure Engineers, you will perform laboratory testing, operate sophisticated test equipment, collect high-quality engineering data, and produce accurate technical documentation supporting product development and verification activities.

What you'll do

Test Execution

  • Execute engineering, integration, characterization, and verification tests according to approved protocols and engineering instructions.
  • Assemble test setups using laboratory fixtures, instrumentation, and engineering prototypes.
  • Operate robotic systems, laboratory equipment, sensors, cameras, motion systems, and data acquisition tools.
  • Ensure tests are executed consistently, safely, and in accordance with laboratory procedures.
  • Record observations during testing and promptly report anomalies to engineering teams.

Data Collection & Reporting

  • Collect, organize, and verify test data generated during laboratory activities.
  • Document test execution using standardized templates and engineering documentation practices.
  • Prepare engineering test reports summarizing test objectives, execution, observations, deviations, and results.
  • Maintain accurate records to ensure traceability and compliance with the Quality Management System.
  • Support engineers by providing complete and reliable testing documentation.

Laboratory Operations

  • Prepare laboratory equipment before testing activities.
  • Verify that instruments and equipment are in proper working condition.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of laboratory equipment and test fixtures.
  • Support calibration activities and equipment inventory management.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.

Prototype Assembly & Test Preparation

  • Assemble engineering prototypes, fixtures, and test articles according to engineering drawings and procedures.
  • Prepare samples and disposable components required for testing.
  • Configure laboratory equipment and software before test execution.
  • Verify test readiness prior to engineering activities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Test Infrastructure Engineers to ensure test benches operate correctly.
  • Support Systems, Mechanical, Electronics, Robotics, and Software Engineers during engineering investigations.
  • Communicate unexpected observations and equipment issues to engineering teams.
  • Participate in troubleshooting sessions when required.

Continuous Improvement

  • Suggest improvements to laboratory procedures and testing workflows.
  • Contribute to improving repeatability and efficiency of laboratory activities.
  • Support implementation of new laboratory equipment and testing methods.
  • Promote good laboratory practices and documentation quality.

Requirements

Technical Skills

  • Experience operating laboratory equipment and engineering test systems.
  • Ability to follow engineering procedures and test protocols with a high level of accuracy.
  • Familiarity with measurement instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, force sensors, cameras, microscopes, or motion systems.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical assembly and electromechanical systems.
  • Comfortable using computers for data collection, documentation, and reporting.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
