Position Type: Full-Time, Remote Working Hours: U.S. Business Hours

About the Role

At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a Mobile App Developer to build, maintain, and optimize modern mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building polished mobile experiences, shipping production-ready applications, solving performance challenges, and collaborating with product, design, and backend teams. You’ll work across native and cross-platform development, API integrations, release management, and mobile architecture to deliver scalable, high-quality mobile products.

Responsibilities

Mobile Development

  • Build and maintain mobile applications using Swift, Kotlin, React Native, Flutter, or similar frameworks.
  • Develop responsive, pixel-perfect interfaces from Figma or design prototypes.
  • Integrate REST APIs, GraphQL, authentication systems, and backend services.
  • Build scalable, maintainable mobile architectures.

Feature Development

  • Develop new user-facing features and improve existing functionality.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers.
  • Ensure compatibility across devices and platforms.

Testing & Quality

  • Write and maintain unit and UI tests.
  • Debug crashes, memory leaks, and performance issues.
  • Support CI/CD testing and deployment workflows.
  • Maintain high coding and testing standards.

Release & Performance

  • Manage releases through TestFlight, the Apple App Store, and Google Play Console.
  • Prepare release builds, metadata, and store submissions.
  • Monitor applications using Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry, or New Relic.
  • Optimize performance, responsiveness, battery usage, and application stability.

Security

  • Implement secure authentication and protect sensitive user data.
  • Follow platform security and compliance best practices.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 3+ years of professional mobile application development experience.
  • Strong experience with Swift, Kotlin, React Native, Flutter, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience publishing applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Strong understanding of mobile architecture, API integrations, state management, debugging, and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows, Fastlane, or Bitrise.

Nice to Have

  • Experience building apps with push notifications, chat, live updates, or in-app purchases.
  • Experience supporting production applications with 10K+ downloads.
  • Familiarity with Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, or Amplitude.
  • Experience in SaaS, fintech, healthcare, or e-commerce.

What Success Looks Like

  • High application stability and crash-free sessions.
  • On-time delivery of features and releases.
  • Strong app store ratings and user satisfaction.
  • Improved application performance and responsiveness.
  • Clean, maintainable, and scalable code.

What Happens After You Apply

Right after you apply, you’ll receive an email invitation from Spark Hire to record your Intro Video. It’s a short, self-recorded video that completes your application and allows hiring managers to get to know you before the interview process begins.

Rather than repeating your background during multiple screening calls, you’ll tell your story once, allowing future interviews to focus on meaningful conversations.

Don’t overthink it—you can record as many takes as you’d like before submitting. Your invitation will come from Spark Hire, so please check both your inbox and spam folder.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?
