Position Summary

The Vasculitis Foundation (VF) is seeking a creative, hands-on, and forward-thinking Multimedia Producer to develop and manage multimedia content across VF's programs, platforms, and audiences. This role will play a key part in delivering a growing portfolio of webinars, podcasts, videos, and digital content while helping VF stay current with emerging platforms, formats, and audience trends.

The ideal candidate brings strong video and multimedia production skills, excellent project management, a working knowledge of digital and social platforms, and experience creating content in nonprofit and healthcare-related settings. This person will be equally comfortable producing a 35-minute medical education webinar, or a 90-second short-form video and will understand how to engage patients, clinicians, researchers, donors, and other mission-driven audiences.

This is a hands-on role with opportunities to contribute strategic recommendations. The Producer will independently manage projects from concept through completion, advise colleagues on effective platforms, formats, and tactics, track emerging trends, and use audience and engagement data to inform content decisions.

Sitting within VF's Education team and reporting to the Chief Program Officer, this role works closely with Marketing & Communications, Development, and other teams across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Multimedia Content & Project Management

  • Manage the planning, production, and delivery of multimedia projects, including webinars, podcasts, videos, and short-form content across emerging formats.
  • Demonstrate excellence in project management by establishing clear workflows, timelines, and deliverables and keep projects moving from concept through completion.
  • Independently manage multiple projects and competing priorities while communicating proactively about progress, challenges, and deadlines.
  • Contribute ideas and recommendations for new content formats, platforms, and production approaches based on audience needs and emerging trends.
  • Collect and analyze audience feedback, demographics, engagement metrics, and content performance data to evaluate impact, optimize reach, and inform multimedia content, platform, and format decisions across VF's diverse stakeholder audiences.
  • Track emerging digital trends, platforms, and technologies and bring forward-looking recommendations to the team.

Webinar Program

  • Manage the end-to-end production of VF's webinar program, including topic development, speaker coordination, technical preparation, recording, editing, distribution, and evaluation.
  • Coordinate with physicians, medical specialists, patient advocates, and other subject matter experts to support high-quality educational content.
  • Manage webinar platforms and associated production tools to ensure a seamless experience for presenters and registrants.
  • Track webinar participation, engagement, and evaluation data and recommend improvements based on results.

Content Production & Editing

  • Produce and edit multimedia content across formats, from full-length educational recordings to short-form video and social media assets.
  • Develop and produce VF's podcast program, including format development, guest coordination, recording, editing, publishing, and promotion.
  • Develop and produce short-form multimedia content that supports education, awareness, campaigns, events, and organizational priorities.
  • Adapt existing content for different platforms and audiences, ensuring content is formatted appropriately for each channel.
  • Maintain organized digital asset libraries and ensure multimedia content is appropriately archived and accessible.
  • Coordinate with contract videographers and other external vendors as needed, including supporting in-person event coverage.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Marketing & Communications, Development, Education, and other teams to develop multimedia content supporting organizational priorities, from patient education and clinical outreach to fundraising campaigns and donor engagement
  • Advise colleagues on appropriate platforms, formats, production approaches, and audience engagement tactics.
  • Support campaign videos, awareness content, patient and clinician education, donor communications, and other multimedia projects.
  • Coordinate photography and visual asset needs, including headshots, event photography, and conference coverage.
  • Build positive working relationships across teams and with external partners while keeping projects aligned and on schedule.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
