This role acts as the primary bridge between the North American institutional organization and the Global Marketing Center of Excellence. Rather than managing a dedicated regional marketing team, the North America Marketing Leader partners with global specialists across product marketing, digital marketing, content, creative, events, and marketing operations to execute regional priorities.

The successful candidate will be a member of the North American leadership team and will work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and State Partnership teams to drive new business, renewals, cross-sell opportunities, customer satisfaction, and product adoption.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Strategy & Market Leadership

  • Develop and own the North America marketing strategy aligned to regional revenue, growth, and retention objectives.
  • Identify market opportunities, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and emerging trends.
  • Translate regional priorities into actionable marketing plans executed through the Global Marketing Center of Excellence.
  • Serve as the voice of the North American market within global planning and product launch discussions.

Sales & Customer Success Alignment

  • Partner closely with sales leadership to support new business growth across all education segments.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success teams to drive product adoption, renewals, and customer expansion opportunities.
  • Develop and refine sales enablement resources, messaging, and market insights.

Product Launches & Growth Initiatives

  • Lead regional execution of major product launches and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Ensure campaigns, events, webinars, and customer communications reflect regional market needs.
  • Provide structured feedback to product and global marketing teams regarding customer response, objections, and market opportunities.

Revenue & Performance Management

  • Monitor regional marketing performance, pipeline contribution, customer engagement, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Utilize data and reporting to identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
  • Partner with global marketing operations teams to improve attribution, funnel visibility, and performance measurement.

Partnerships & Market Engagement

  • Support regional events, conferences, webinars, and strategic partnerships.
  • Engage with state partners, educational organizations, and key customer stakeholders to strengthen market presence and customer relationships.
  • Represent Britannica Education at industry events and customer engagements.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of marketing experience within EdTech, education publishing, SaaS, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering closely with sales organizations to drive revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of demand generation, customer lifecycle marketing, product marketing, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Experience supporting both acquisition and customer expansion initiatives.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct management authority.
  • Experience presenting to stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to drive business decisions.
  • Knowledge of the K–12 education market is a plus; experience in higher education is also a plus.
  • Willingness to travel for customer meetings, conferences, sales planning, and regional business activities.

Benefits

  • Compensation: 120000-130000 USD/year
  • Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)
  • Retirement Plan (401k, IRA)
  • Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
