Principia is seeking an O&M Wind Plant Supervisor Assistant in Fthiotida, Central Greece.

Jointly owned by Enel SpA and funds managed by Macquarie Asset Management, Principia operates a diverse portfolio of assets, encompassing wind, solar, hydroelectric energy projects, as well as battery energy storage systems.

Established in 2008 as part of Enel Green Power in Greece, Principia has evolved into an independent entity, owning 71 plants in operation with a total installed capacity of 775.32 MW. The company is actively expanding its footprint with another 5.27 GW under various stages of development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in on-site operation and maintenance activities for wind plants in Central Greece, and support other power plants when required
  • Monitor wind plant performance and operational efficiency, and prepare related performance reports
  • Supervise contractors and manage on-site activities, ensuring proper coordination with local stakeholders (e.g., PPC, municipalities, local contractors, suppliers)
  • Ensure full compliance with company HSQ (Health, Safety & Quality) policies and procedures
  • Contribute to O&M projects, including initiatives aimed at improving plant performance, efficiency, and sustainability goals
  • Operate and handle medium and low voltage electrical equipment, and respond to incidents requiring on-site physical intervention
  • Support administrative and operational processes such as warehouse and spare parts management, procurement activities, and budget preparation/monitoring

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • At least 2 years of experience in wind plant operation and maintenance
  • Good command of the English language
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Valid driver’s license
  • High level of flexibility and willingness for periodic travel and overnight stays at project sites
  • Ability to work in demanding environments, including rough terrain and adverse weather conditions
  • Familiarity with the use of hand tools
  • Based in Fthiotida
