The posting

Salary: R29 000 – R32 000 per month

Remote Recruitment is hiring an Office Coordinator for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa. You will own the day-to-day rhythm of a UK team — schedules, suppliers, records and the small details that keep everyone moving.

A good fit if you like solving small problems before they grow, enjoy being the person everyone asks, and want a long-term career with a UK business from home in South Africa.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate team schedules, meetings and shared calendars
  • Liaise with suppliers and service providers and track orders
  • Maintain records, trackers and internal documentation
  • Prepare agendas, minutes and follow-up actions
  • Monitor deadlines and flag delays early
  • Support onboarding logistics for new starters

What you'll need

  • Experience in an office coordination, administration or team support role
  • Confident with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace
  • Experience managing calendars and coordinating across several people
  • Strong written and spoken English, well organised under pressure
  • A reliable fibre connection, a working laptop and a quiet place to work

Nice to have

  • Experience with a project or task tool such as Asana, Trello or Monday
  • Experience supporting a remote or distributed team
  • Basic experience with expenses or purchase orders

  • Working hours of 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST), Monday to Friday
