Content Operations Specialist

Department: E-commerce / Digital Commerce Reports to: E-commerce Lead Location: Kuala Lumpur

Job Summary

We are looking for a Content Operations Specialist to manage the day-to-day execution, publishing, and optimisation of content across EPOS’s social media, e-commerce marketplaces, website, and other digital platforms.

This role will be responsible for ensuring that all online content — from social media posts and product listings to promotional banners, campaign pages, product information, and digital assets — is accurate, engaging, consistent, and published on time.

The ideal candidate is highly organised, detail-oriented, and data-driven, with a good understanding of how content, product presentation, pricing, platform exposure, and traffic contribute to online conversion and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Content Operations

  • Manage the day-to-day publishing and scheduling of content across EPOS’s social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.
  • Coordinate social media calendars and ensure posts are published accurately and on schedule.
  • Upload and manage captions, images, videos, links, hashtags, and other content assets.
  • Ensure content follows brand guidelines and is adapted appropriately for each platform.
  • Monitor post performance, engagement, reach, and traffic to identify opportunities for optimisation.
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Creative teams to ensure required content assets are delivered on time.

2. Marketplace & Product Listing Management

  • Create, upload, update, and maintain product listings across Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and other online platforms.
  • Manage product titles, descriptions, specifications, attributes, images, videos, pricing, bundles, variations, and promotional information.
  • Ensure product information and pricing remain accurate and consistent across Malaysia and Singapore.
  • Regularly review listings for completeness, accuracy, visibility, and overall presentation.
  • Monitor competitor listings, product positioning, pricing, promotions, and content presentation to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support new product launches by ensuring listings and relevant content are ready before launch.

3. Website & Digital Content Management

  • Upload and maintain content across EPOS websites, landing pages, campaign pages, and other digital platforms.
  • Ensure product information, promotional messages, banners, FAQs, and other customer-facing information are accurate and up to date.
  • Coordinate content updates for new products, campaigns, promotions, and business initiatives.
  • Conduct regular content audits to identify outdated, inaccurate, duplicated, or missing information.

4. Content Optimisation & Online Visibility

  • Continuously optimise online content based on traffic, engagement, search visibility, conversion, and platform performance.
  • Analyse which listings, posts, products, and content formats generate stronger exposure and customer engagement.
  • Monitor both online and offline traffic trends where relevant and identify opportunities to improve digital visibility and customer conversion.
  • Conduct competitor benchmarking across product listings, pricing, promotions, positioning, and content strategies.
  • Support basic A/B testing of product titles, images, descriptions, promotional messages, and other content elements.
  • Recommend improvements based on customer behaviour and performance data rather than content aesthetics alone.

5. Campaign & Promotional Content Operations

  • Support content execution for marketplace and social campaigns, including major promotional periods such as 9.9, 10.10, 11.11, and 12.12.
  • Coordinate campaign banners, promotional messages, product listings, vouchers, bundles, and related digital assets.
  • Ensure campaign content, pricing, product information, and promotional mechanics are accurately reflected across platforms.
  • Work closely with Marketplace Operations and Growth teams to prioritise key products and campaigns.

6. Content Coordination & Governance

  • Maintain an organised content library covering product images, videos, descriptions, campaign assets, social media materials, and other digital content.
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Growth, Product, Sales, Customer Operations, and Creative teams to gather accurate information and content requirements.
  • Ensure consistency of product and brand information across different platforms and markets.
  • Establish simple processes and checklists to reduce content errors and improve publishing efficiency.
  • Ensure content complies with relevant platform policies and brand requirements.

7. Reporting & Performance Analysis

  • Track key content and platform performance metrics such as Traffic, Impressions, Reach, Engagement, Product Views, CTR, CVR, and Orders.
  • Prepare regular reports highlighting content performance, listing quality, traffic trends, and areas for improvement.
  • Identify top- and underperforming content or listings and recommend optimisation actions.
  • Use data and competitor insights to continuously improve content quality, exposure, and conversion.

  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when handling product information, pricing, promotional content, and multiple online platforms.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
