About M-Files Advisory Services

M-Files Advisory Services is a newly established practice within M-Files' Global Services organization, built to help customers move beyond deployment and get measurable business value from the M-Files platform. The practice is launching with three foundational offerings: Health Check, AI Readiness, and Organizational Change Management and the portfolio is expected to expand quickly as the practice matures, including into higher-end advisory and management-consulting-style engagements. This is a founding hire: you'll deliver from day one and help shape how the practice is run at scale as it grows.

Role Summary

The OCM Consultant delivers M-Files Advisory Services' longest and most structured engagement — a multi-week, certified change management program that drives adoption as M-Files expands across departments. It's one of the practice's three founding service lines, and building credibility with customers, and internally, is a central part of standing it up. This is a founding hire for the practice. As a founding hire, you'll deliver the service from day one, help build the delivery methodology and collateral behind it from the ground up, and grow with the role as the Advisory portfolio expands into new and higher-end offerings.

What You'll Do

Delivery

  • Design and lead a structured, multi-phase change management program for customers implementing and/or expanding M-Files across departments — from initial discovery through reinforcement and coaching after go-live. The service will be delivered for both new logos and existing customers.
  • Establish and run a recurring governance cadence with the customer to track change readiness, adoption signals, resistance, and dependencies throughout the engagement.
  • Apply the practice's own persona-based adoption framework to plan differentiated engagement for different stakeholder populations, rather than a single uniform approach.
  • Conduct a training needs analysis to define what each affected role needs to be able to do, and by when, for training that M-Files Professional Services designs and delivers. This role scopes training needs — it does not design or deliver training content.
  • Identify, build, and enable a customer-side change network to sustain adoption after the engagement ends.
  • Coach the customer's executive sponsor and key designees to reinforce the change and address resistance as it surfaces.
  • Establish an adoption baseline at the start of the engagement and track progress against it through close-out.
  • Read a room of mixed adoption-readiness levels in real time and adjust facilitation approach accordingly.
  • Partner with account teams to align engagement scope and timing with the broader account plan.
  • Identify and escalate, to management and/or sales, additional service and subscription (platform expansion) opportunities surfaced during a customer engagement — this role sits closest to the affected user population and is well placed to spot them.

Practice Building

  • Build the delivery workbooks, templates, and project plans the practice needs — most don't exist yet, and this role will help create them from the ground up.
  • Take increasing ownership of the OCM enablement program — training curriculum and certification/readiness pathway guidance for future hires.
  • As the team scales, take on mentoring for incoming associates in your service area — informally at first, without requiring formal management authority.
  • Proactively identify friction in delivery process, tooling, or methodology, and drive it to resolution rather than working around it quietly.
  • Contribute to identifying and shaping new service offerings as the Advisory portfolio expands.
  • 5–8 years of experience specifically in organizational change management, ideally within enterprise software adoption or digital transformation.
  • Formal change management certification required — Prosci, ACMP (CCMP), APMG International, Kotter, Lean Six Sigma, or a validated university certification or degree in a relevant discipline — completed, not in progress.
  • M-Files or comparable enterprise document/content management platform experience — required.
  • Strong business acumen, with demonstrated ability to identify and resolve business process and workflow impediments.
  • Comfortable and effective operating across all levels of a client organization, from end users to C-suite executives.
  • Skilled facilitator with experience designing and delivering change communication and coaching programs.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with experience producing executive-ready plans and reports.
  • Comfortable working within AI-assisted delivery workflows.
  • Comfortable building delivery collateral — workbooks, templates, scoring tools, and project plans — from a blank page, not just executing against an existing playbook. Much of what this role will use day-to-day doesn't exist yet.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Management consulting background — strategy, operations, or business transformation — even outside change management specifically.
  • Business process expertise: experience redesigning how an organization works, not only helping it adopt a new system.
  • Experience helping a customer apply a platform strategically to a business problem, rather than only supporting its adoption.
  • Experience applying persona- or archetype-based adoption frameworks in a workshop setting.
  • Prior experience building training or enablement materials, or certification/readiness pathways, for a team.
  • Experience mentoring or informally leading junior colleagues.

Commercial instinct for spotting expansion or subscription opportunities within a delivery engagement, and comfort raising them to account and sales teams.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
