The posting

TAT Technologies (“TAT”) is a fast-growing, profitable provider of aerospace thermal management, power and actuation products, and repair services. Established in 1969, TAT serves as a global partner to leading aerospace companies, delivering innovative solutions across commercial, defense, OEM, and MRO markets. With employees and operations in the U.S. and Israel, TAT is recognized for its flexibility, technical expertise, and commitment to customer success.

TAT Technologies' Greensboro site serves as the company's Center of Excellence for Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) and landing gear MRO services, as well as aircraft component leasing solutions. Supporting commercial and military aircraft operators worldwide, the site provides integrated maintenance and asset management solutions that maximize fleet availability, reduce downtime, and improve operational performance.

We are seeking a dynamic Organizational Development & Engagement Specialist to drive workforce development, internal culture, and site-wide motivation at our Greensboro facility. This role will serve as the strategic lead for employee training programs, organizational culture, and team engagement strategies. A primary objective of this role is to establish, direct, and grow an internal Motivation Team to champion morale, employee recognition, and culture initiatives across both production and technical operations. Working under the HR umbrellas and with site management, this individual will connect business performance with employee development to cultivate a vibrant, continuous-learning workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Establish, direct, and develop the company’s employee Motivation Team, setting goals, event calendars, budget guidelines, and committee governance.
  • Lead site-wide team-building events, employee appreciation campaigns, peer-to-peer recognition frameworks, and morale-boosting incentives.
  • Direct feedback loops between production technicians and leadership to continuously refine workplace positivity.
  • Design, implement, and facilitate site-wide technical and soft-skills training pro-grams, onboarding integration, and leadership development workshops.
  • Conduct needs assessments across all departments to identify skill gaps and design continuous improvement learning modules.
  • Build career development pathways and cross-training frameworks to support work-force retention and promotion from within.
  • Own the annual employee engagement survey process, pulse checks, and focus groups; analyze data and drive actionable engagement plans.
  • Develop initiatives that foster inclusion, improve communication channels between shifts, and enhance overall job satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Leadership to align organizational culture initiatives with business performance goals and MRO delivery targets.
  • Champion corporate core values and oversee internal communications (newsletters, town hall presentations, department spotlights).
  • Assist with core HR functions, including performance management tracking, onboarding feedback, and culture integration for new hires.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4 to 7 years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 3 years dedicated to organizational development, training facilitation, and employee engagement initiatives (experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or technical operations environments strongly preferred).
  • Proven track record of launching, guiding, or managing cross-functional committees, morale teams, or employee activity councils.
  • Strong presentation, public speaking, and workshop facilitation skills across diverse audiences (from floor technicians to senior executives).
  • Ability to measure training effectiveness, evaluate engagement metrics, and translate survey feedback into measurable culture improvements.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or CPTD (Certified Professional in Talent Development) credential is a plus.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
