We’re Hiring: Outbound Operations Manager at Zendbox!

About the Role

As a key leader within our fulfilment function, the Outbound Operations Manager will take full ownership of direct-to-consumer outbound fulfilment, ensuring every customer order is picked, packed and despatched accurately, safely and on time. This role sits at the heart of our fast-paced eCommerce operation and is accountable for consistently high standards of service, productivity, quality and operational control.

You will lead and develop a high-performing outbound team, creating clear accountability and ensuring labour, workflow and capacity are aligned to forecast volumes. Working closely with Fulfilment, Customer Experience, Technology and other operational teams, you will remove blockers, improve processes and ensure seamless order flow through to carrier handover.

The role requires a visible, hands-on operational leader who is comfortable working at pace, using data to make decisions and driving continuous improvement as Zendbox continues to scale.

Late shift, 2.00pm to 10.00pm 5 out of 7 days

Your Responsibilities

  • • Lead and manage all direct-to-consumer outbound pick, pack and despatch operations, ensuring orders are completed accurately and within agreed customer and carrier SLAs.

  • • Use WMS and operational data to monitor performance, identify trends and drive timely corrective action.
  • • Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth order flow, rapid resolution of operational issues and exceptional customer outcomes.
  • • Drive continuous improvement across outbound workflows, layouts, processes and ways of working to increase productivity, capacity and service quality.
  • • Identify recurring operational issues and implement sustainable root-cause solutions rather than short-term fixes.
  • • Ensure effective shift handovers, clear communication of priorities and accurate escalation of risks, constraints and service issues.
  • • Maintain high standards of health and safety, housekeeping, compliance and operational discipline across the outbound operation.
  • • Monitor team attendance, performance and conduct, applying company people processes consistently and working with HR where required.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
