Outside Sales Representative – Business Development

Disaster Restoration Services (B2B)

Great Falls, MT — Greater Great Falls Metro Territory

$60,000 Base + Uncapped Commission | Six Months of Guaranteed Minimum Commission While You Ramp | $100K+ Income Potential | Vehicle Allowance & Gas Card | Full Benefits + 401(k) Match | Unlimited PTO

You Won't Be Explaining Who We Are

There are two ways to build a sales territory.

The first is to walk into a property manager's office representing a company nobody in town has heard of, and spend your first year convincing people you'll still be around next year.

The second is what this job actually is.

Dayspring Restoration has been drying out, cleaning up, and rebuilding Montana properties for more than twenty-five years, across tens of thousands of completed projects. Our trucks are already on the roads your prospects drive. The adjusters in this market have worked our files. When you hand someone a card, you're not introducing a startup — you're introducing yourself as the person who now represents a name the market already recognizes.

That head start is worth real money to the right salesperson. It's the difference between selling a promise and selling a track record.

And You Won't Be Eating the Ramp-Up

Here's the part most restoration sales jobs won't offer you.

Relationship-based territory work is a compounding game — which is another way of saying the first several months pay less than the years that follow. Most companies hand you that problem and call it "opportunity."

We don't. This role includes six months of guaranteed minimum commission during ramp-up, on top of a $60,000 base. You get paid a real income while you're doing the unglamorous work of getting known: the introductions, the coffee meetings, the second and third visits before anyone calls you with a loss.

Build it correctly and the commission is uncapped from there. $100K+ is the realistic target for a rep who works this territory well — not a number we use to get you in the door.

Who You'll Be Building With

You are not chasing homeowners one emergency at a time. You're building a professional referral network of people who encounter property damage as a regular part of their job — and who need someone reliable to call when they do.

• Insurance agents and adjusters

• Property managers and multifamily ownership groups

• Facility managers and commercial property professionals

• Plumbers, HVAC companies, and general contractors

• Senior living and healthcare facilities

• Hospitality and commercial business owners

Think about the math for a moment. A busy plumber sees water losses constantly. A property manager may oversee hundreds of units. An adjuster touches dozens of claims a month. Earn the trust of twenty people like that and you're no longer looking for deals — the deals start looking for you.

That's the economic engine of this role. Your job is to build it.

What an Actual Tuesday Looks Like

Because "drive strategic growth initiatives" doesn't tell you anything.

• Route your day around the territory and hit a list of target accounts in person

• Walk into property management offices, plumbing shops, and contractor yards and introduce yourself

• Sit down with an insurance agent to talk through how our emergency response actually works when their insured calls at 2 a.m.

• Tour a commercial facility with a facility manager and talk through their water and fire risk

• Follow up on the four conversations you started last week — by phone, email, and in person

• Log the activity, contacts, and next steps in CRM so nothing falls through the cracks

• Attend an association meeting, chamber event, or after-hours industry function

• Hand off a live opportunity to operations and stay close to it so your relationship is protected

Some of it is relationship work. Some of it is knocking on doors cold. Both are part of the job, and the people who do well here are honest with themselves about that before they apply.

This Is a Hunting Role — Say It Out Loud

You will have a recognized brand, a marketing function, an operations team that does good work, and leadership that has actually carried a bag. You will still be the one responsible for creating opportunities.

Nobody hands you a lead list. The phone does not ring because you had a nice conversation in April. If you want inbound leads and a short transactional cycle, this is the wrong posting and we'd rather you know that now.

If you like being the person who builds the market presence — keep reading.

How We'll Know It's Working (6–12 Months)

• A referral network that is actually producing calls, not just contacts in your phone

• Consistent weekly meetings with new and existing partners

• A pipeline that is visible, current, and growing

• Your name recognized in the market before a loss happens, not after

• Repeat business from partners who've used you once and came back

• Earnings tracking toward $100K+

Activity creates relationships. Relationships create opportunities. Opportunities create revenue. We'll measure all four.

About Dayspring Restoration

We've served Montana for more than a quarter-century and completed tens of thousands of restoration projects. That longevity is the credibility you'll carry into every meeting.

We're also part of the Fleet Response family of companies, which means the scale to handle anything from a single-unit water loss to an area-wide disaster — so when your referral partner sends you their worst day, we can actually deliver. Protecting the relationships our salespeople build is an operations priority, not an afterthought.

Sales isn't a side function here. Our systems, leadership, marketing, and operations are built to support producers who want to grow with the company.

Apply

If you're ready to represent a name Montana already trusts — and get paid while you build the network around it — apply today. Applications are reviewed promptly and qualified candidates are contacted for an initial conversation.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of B2B outside sales experience

• Genuine comfort with cold outreach and face-to-face introductions

• The discipline to manage your own calendar, territory, and follow-up without someone checking on you

• Strong communication skills and the judgment to prioritize the accounts that matter

• Coachable — willing to run a proven process rather than reinvent it

• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation

• Ability to pass a background screening

• Willingness to attend in-person meetings and evening industry events across the territory

Helpful, But Not Required

Restoration experience is a nice-to-have, not a gate. What travels well into this role:

• Selling services (rather than products) to commercial accounts

• Existing relationships in property management, multifamily, insurance, healthcare, senior living, or hospitality

• Construction, building services, or trade-adjacent sales

• Any background where you've been known and trusted inside a local business community

If you already know people in Great Falls who manage, insure, or maintain property, that network has real financial value in this seat. We'd like to talk to you.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
