Position Summary

The Housekeeper position plays a vital role in creating the welcoming, restorative experience that The Stanford Inn is known for. This role ensures that guest rooms, guest houses, and shared spaces are cleaned with care, stocked thoughtfully, and prepared to our established standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean inn rooms and guest houses following established checklists and quality standards.
  • Maintain a tidy, organized workspace and complete tasks with care and consistency.
  • Restock linens, supplies, and amenities in alignment with The Stanford brand.
  • Assist with laundry and linen organization as assigned.
  • Support deep cleans and seasonal projects.
  • Protect guest privacy and maintain a professional, courteous presence when interacting with guests in shared spaces.
  • Report maintenance issues promptly.
  • Contribute to a positive, respectful, team-oriented atmosphere.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • A dependable team member who takes pride in their work.
  • Friendly, respectful, and hospitable around guests.
  • Able to maintain pace while delivering consistent quality.
  • Open to learning and being trained in The Stanford’s cleaning standards.
