The posting

We are seeking an experienced Pathologist to join a prestigious government healthcare facility in the UAE. The role involves providing accurate diagnostic pathology services, supporting clinical teams, and contributing to high-quality patient care through laboratory and tissue-based diagnosis.

Candidates with UK CCT, Western Qualified, American Board, Australian Board, and South African Board qualifications are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and interpret diagnostic pathology examinations.
  • Evaluate surgical pathology, biopsy, and cytology specimens.
  • Provide accurate and timely pathology reports.
  • Support the diagnosis and management of complex medical conditions.
  • Work closely with surgeons, oncologists, physicians, and other clinical specialists.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
  • Ensure compliance with laboratory quality, safety, and accreditation standards.
  • Contribute to quality improvement, clinical audits, and professional development.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.

Requirements

  • MBBS/MD or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Pathology or an equivalent specialty.
  • Relevant post-specialization clinical experience.
  • Strong experience in diagnostic pathology and interpretation of tissue and cytology specimens.
  • Experience in surgical pathology and subspecialty pathology is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, and reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to patient safety, quality, and evidence-based practice.
