Help children strengthen their communication and functional language skills through individualized, evidence-based speech therapy. At Patterns Behavioral Services, you’ll collaborate with families, BCBAs, behavior technicians, occupational therapists, and other professionals to provide coordinated care.
What you’ll do
- Conduct speech and language screenings, evaluations, and standardized assessments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable therapy goals.
- Provide direct speech-language therapy in clinic and home settings.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies based on clinical data.
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, treatment plans, services, and client progress.
- Educate families about communication needs and strategies they can use outside therapy sessions.
- Communicate progress to families, teachers, medical providers, and other authorized members of the client’s care team.
- Collaborate with BCBAs, behavior technicians, occupational therapists, and other professionals.
- Help clients generalize communication skills across people and environments.
What you’ll need
- A master’s degree in speech-language pathology or communication sciences and disorders.
- An active California Speech-Language Pathologist license in good standing.
- Experience evaluating and treating pediatric communication disorders.
- Strong clinical documentation, organization, and communication skills.
- The ability to travel between assigned Orange County locations.
Experience supporting children with autism, developmental disabilities, AAC systems, or interdisciplinary treatment plans is preferred.

Requirements
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Proven work experience as a Speech Pathologist or similar role
- Provide consistent weekly availability minimum 1 full day or two half days per week
- Experience with certain conditions or working with specific age groups may be preferred
- Strong understanding of speech-related conditions, causes, and treatments
- Excellent coaching, verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with computers, especially patient and healthcare databases
- Attentive and caring with the ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Relevant training and/or certifications as a Speech Pathologist
- Part-Time; $80 per hour
