Performance Marketing Specialist – Google Ads, Meta Ads & LinkedIn Ads

Position Type: Full-Time, Remote Working Hours: U.S. Time Zones

About the Role

At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a Performance Marketing Specialist to build, manage, optimize, and scale paid media campaigns across multiple digital advertising platforms.

This is a hands-on performance marketing role, not a strategy-only position. You’ll be actively managing campaigns, analyzing performance, testing creatives and audiences, troubleshooting conversion tracking, and making daily optimizations designed to improve ROAS, CPL, CPA, and overall conversion performance.

You’ll work across:

  • Google Ads
  • Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram)
  • LinkedIn Ads
  • YouTube Ads
  • Display advertising
  • Retargeting and paid acquisition channels

If you enjoy turning campaign data into measurable growth and know how to scale paid media without sacrificing efficiency, this role is a strong fit.

What You’ll Own

Paid Media Campaign Management

Build, launch, and manage campaigns across:

  • Google Ads
  • Meta Ads Manager
  • LinkedIn Ads
  • YouTube Ads
  • Display and retargeting platforms

You’ll:

  • Develop campaigns for lead generation, conversions, remarketing, and brand awareness.
  • Structure campaigns, ad groups, audiences, and targeting effectively.
  • Manage budgets and bid strategies.
  • Build and refine audience segments.
  • Monitor campaign delivery and performance daily.
  • Manage multiple campaigns or accounts simultaneously.

Campaign Optimization & Scaling

Take direct ownership of paid media performance.

You’ll continuously optimize:

  • Cost Per Click (CPC)
  • Cost Per Lead (CPL)
  • Cost Per Acquisition (CPA)
  • Click-Through Rate (CTR)
  • Conversion Rate
  • Return on Ad Spend (ROAS)

You’ll:

  • Identify underperforming campaigns quickly.
  • Adjust bids, budgets, targeting, placements, and audiences.
  • Improve ad relevance and conversion efficiency.
  • Identify winning campaigns and scaling opportunities.
  • Scale profitable campaigns while maintaining performance.
  • Make data-backed optimization decisions rather than relying on assumptions.

Creative Testing & Funnel Optimization

Develop structured testing programs across:

  • Headlines
  • Ad copy
  • Creatives
  • Audiences
  • Calls-to-action
  • Landing pages

Collaborate with designers and content teams to develop stronger advertising assets based on campaign data.

Analyze funnel performance to identify:

  • Conversion bottlenecks
  • Landing-page friction
  • Messaging gaps
  • Audience-quality issues
  • Opportunities to improve conversion rates

Translate performance data into clear recommendations for creative and funnel improvements.

Conversion Tracking, Analytics & Attribution

Implement, maintain, and troubleshoot tracking using:

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Meta Pixel
  • Platform conversion tracking
  • Attribution systems

Ensure accurate measurement across paid campaigns, landing pages, and conversion funnels.

You’ll:

  • Validate conversion events.
  • Troubleshoot tracking discrepancies.
  • Analyze user behavior and conversion paths.
  • Identify funnel drop-offs.
  • Maintain reliable attribution and reporting.
  • Ensure optimization decisions are based on accurate data.

Reporting & Performance Insights

Prepare clear, actionable performance reporting covering:

  • ROAS
  • CPL
  • CPA
  • CPC
  • CTR
  • Conversion rates
  • Lead volume
  • Revenue contribution

Provide weekly campaign summaries that clearly communicate:

  • What is performing well.
  • What is underperforming.
  • What has been changed.
  • What should be tested next.
  • Where additional budget can be deployed profitably.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with:

  • Marketing teams
  • Designers
  • Content teams
  • Sales teams
  • Leadership

Ensure paid acquisition efforts align with broader revenue and marketing objectives.

Support integrated marketing initiatives involving:

  • Paid media
  • SEO
  • Email marketing

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
