The posting

Hai āwhina i ngā mahi a Ngāti Whakaue Iho Ake

Ko Te Taumata o Ngāti Whakaue Iho Ake hai whakatinana, hai whakatairanga hoki i ngā wawata o Ngāti Whakaue i roto i ngā kaupapa mātauranga, te reo Māori, te whai kāinga me te oranga pāpori.

Nā te ngākau titikaha me te ū o ā mātau poumahi, ka toro atu ā mātau mahi ki ngā whānau, koeke, rangatahi, tamariki me ngā kōhungahunga. Ko te manaakitanga, te whanaungatanga, te kaitiakitanga, te pono me te tika, me te mana motuhake ngā pou e tūāpapa ai ā mātau mahi

This is not a role you'll find advertised often — because it isn't like the other roles at Te Taumata.

Where most of our positions sit within a team, delivering a defined service, the Pou Tikanga sits alongside our General Manager, working across the whole organisation. The mana of this role doesn't come from a title on an org chart, it comes from your knowledge, your relationships and the trust that whānau and poumahi place in you.

Why this role exists

Nā Ngāti Whakaue a Te Taumata i whakatū, mō Ngāti Whakaue anō hoki.

Nō reira, ko ngā āhuatanga katoa o ā mātau mahi — mai i te whakatau me te manaaki tangata, te whakahaere hui, te ārahi i ā mātau poumahi, tae noa ki te manaaki me te tautoko i ō tātau whānau — me whakaata tonu i tō tātau Ngāti Whakauetanga.

Ko tā te Pou Tikanga he whakatinana i tēnei aronga. Ehara i te mea he whakatutuki noa i tētehi rārangi tikanga, engari ko te whakararanga i a Ngāti Whakaue, ōna tikanga me ōna uara ki roto i te whatumanawa o te whakahaere — ki ā tātau mahi, ki ā tātau whakatau, me te āhua hoki o tā tātau tū ki te ao.

  • He hōhonu, he pakari hoki tō mōhio ki ngā tikanga, ngā kawa, ngā whakapapa me te tuakiri o Ngāti Whakaue.
  • Me whai raihana taraiwa motukā o Aotearoa, karaehe katoa, e mana tonu ana.

Ka taea te ngāwari o ngā rā me ngā hāora mahi kia rite ki ngā wāhi me ngā kaupapa e hiahiatia ai tō tautoko. Ka whai wāhi atu hoki ki ngā hui me ngā kaupapa ka tū ki waho atu i ngā hāora mahi o ia rā.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
