The posting

Inbox Business Technologies are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Printing Officer to manage and monitor the organization's printing operations. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth functioning of printers, provide basic technical support, maintain printing equipment, and coordinate with users to ensure uninterrupted printing services.

Employment Type: Contractual employment

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage the day-to-day operations of printers and printing devices.
  • Ensure printers are functioning efficiently and address basic hardware or software issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain printers and related peripherals.
  • Monitor printer performance, toner levels, paper supply, and other consumables.
  • Coordinate with vendors for printer servicing, maintenance, and repairs when required.
  • Provide first-level support to users for printing-related issues.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain records of printer inventory, maintenance activities, and consumable usage.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to the relevant IT support team or vendor.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational IT and information security policies.

Requirements

  • Minimum Intermediate / Diploma (or equivalent) in Information Technology or IT-related field
  • 0-1 Experience in Information Technology.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware and operating systems.
  • Familiarity with printer installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of network printers and print queues is an advantage.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
