The posting

Eram Talent is actively seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Expeditor on behalf of a leading EPC client in the Oil & Gas sector in Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the timely delivery of materials, equipment, and critical documentation to keep major EPC projects—specifically Gas Oil Separation Plants (GOSP)—on schedule.

The work location would be in Haradh, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supplier Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact between the project team and vendors to proactively monitor the manufacturing, fabrication, and delivery status of procured materials and equipment.
  • Schedule Management: Track and verify vendor schedules against project milestones, identifying potential delays early and implementing effective recovery plans.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise closely with Procurement, Engineering, Quality Control, and Project Management teams to ensure all material requirements and technical specifications are aligned and met.
  • Documentation Tracking: Ensure the timely submission and approval of all required vendor data and documentation (e.g., inspection reports, shipping documents, material certificates).
  • Reporting: Maintain and update daily/weekly expediting reports, tracking logs, and ERP systems to provide accurate visibility of procurement statuses to project stakeholders.
  • Issue Resolution: Negotiate and resolve bottlenecks, supply chain disruptions, or logistical challenges that threaten project timelines.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a highly relevant discipline.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in procurement, expediting, or supply chain roles.

Industry Knowledge: Proven experience within the EPC Oil & Gas sector.

Specialized Expertise: Direct experience with GOSP (Gas Oil Separation Plant) projects is highly preferred and will be considered a strong advantage.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in tracking software, ERP systems, and standard MS Office applications (Excel, Word).

Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to maintain composure and drive results in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
